Gideon appeared calm as Ivan led him and the others as well as The Patriarch to his office in the space station.

However, despite looking calm, his mind was racing.

The brief instant he entered stealth to attack Vale as he was charging up his attack. Gideon felt largely the same as he did whenever he fought.

However, the moment Vale executed his attack, the prospect of losing actually entered his mind for the first time.
