Where should I go?

Gen then leaned his body towards Zoe and asked, "Really?! Where is it?!"

And Zoe moved away a little and said, "Well, it should show up in town any minute now."

Gen then frowned and said, "Show up in town? Hold on. Are you talking about the water temple?"

And Zoe said, "Yes, exactly."

"I heard about the water temple from you when I had just arrived in town, but from what I understand about it, there's no way it could be an ordeal. After all, several people enter it every year, and from what I've heard about it today, no one has commented on it being an ordeal."

"Well, that's true, but I'm not lying to you. The flowing Water Ruin was once the name of the water temple for a time.

Gen then leaned back in his chair, rested his chin on one hand, and began to think, 'Is the Water Temple really the ruin I'm looking for? If so, why has no one noticed that it's an ordeal till today?'

Gen then continued in silence for a few seconds, and Zoe said, "Gen, I was thinking, and there is a possibility that the water temple is an ordeal. I don't know if you've heard about it, but the temple has never been fully explored. Inside it, there is a door that no one has been able to get to yet."

Gen's eyes widened at this, and he stood up and said, "It's true! Fir had talked about it. The ordeal should only start from the point where you pass through that door. So, it makes sense that no one knows it exists. Thank you, Zoe. Your information was very helpful. Well, I'll be going. I have to prepare as much as possible for this event."

Gen then turned, started toward the door, and walked out of the room without even waiting for Zoe and Briny to say anything.

Zoe then looked at Briny and said, "Interesting friend you have here, Bri."

And Briny put her hand over her mouth and said, "Hahaha, true, but you didn't see anything. You have to meet the rest of his group."

Zoe then stretched toward Briny and asked curiously, "Oh yeah? What are they like?"

And Briny said, "Well, it's kind of hard to explain. You'll have to talk to them to understand. I'm going to attend the event with them, so maybe after the event, we can get together for drinks, and you can get to know them."

Zoe then leaned back in her chair and said, "Sure. I have a feeling it'll be fun."

And Briny said, "Okay. I'll talk to them."

...

Gen had just left the guild, then stopped and thought, 'What do I do now? I don't want to go to the hotel and meet with Raja and Lina. I'm a little better, but I'm still angry with them. Is there a nice place for me to hang out around here?'

Gen then started to look around and thought, 'Well, there's no use standing around.', and picked a direction to go down the street. He then walked down the street for a while and saw several stores, restaurants, and bars crowded with people.

He then thought, 'All these places seem so expensive. I wonder if there isn't a more humble area here in the dome. Is it too much to ask for a place where I can look at it and not think about how I'm going to pay off my debt later?'

Gen then continued walking around town and thought, 'Oh, that's right. There's the beach in front of the hotel. Maybe I should stop by and see what it's like.'

He then started to look around and went towards a store. When he got there, an attendant came up to him and said with a smile, "Good evening. How can I help you?"

And Gen said, "Good evening. Do you know which way is the beach?"

The attendant then lost the smile on his face and asked, "That depends. Which beach are you talking about?"

And Gen said, "Is there more than one beach here?"

"Yes. There is the royal beach, which is the beach in front of the palace, the deep beach, which is the beach in front of the Deep Sea Inn, and the inner beach, which is in the middle of the island."

"Oh, I see. It's the deep beach that I'm looking for."

"Well, in that case, you just need to follow through ..."

The attendant then gave Gen the directions to the beach, and he said, "Thank you very much.", and then followed in the direction the attendant told him.

Gen walked for a few minutes and then started to see the inn he was staying at in the distance.

He then thought, 'Looks like I'm getting close.'

He then continued towards it but suddenly bumped into a girl who appeared in front of him out of nowhere, knocking her to the ground, which caused her to knock over several flyers that were in her hand.

He was startled at first, but then he heard the girl say, "Ouch.", and then he reached out and said, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to knock you down. Are you all right?"

The girl looked to be in her early teens. She had shoulder-length black hair, and her eyes were blue. Her body was slender, and she was about the height of Gen's shoulders.

She accepted his hand, stood up, and said, "It's all right, and it's okay, it's not your fault. I came in your way to give you a flyer for the place where I work.", and then she bent down and started to pick up the flyers.

Seeing that, Gen bent down and said, "Let me help you.", and then he started to pick up the flyers.

The girl then said, "Thank you."

The two of them spent some time going through the flyers, and when they were done, they both stood up.

As she held the flyers in both hands close to her body, the girl then said, "Thanks again."

And Gen smiled and said, "Hahaha, you're welcome, but gee, you're carrying a lot of flyers with you. Is that for the whole week?"

The girl then bowed her head slightly and said half-heartedly, "Actually, they're for today ..."

Gen then widened his eyes and said quickly, "Oh, I'm sorry, but don't get down. Every business has bad days. I bet tomorrow will be much better."

The girl then looked at him and said, smiling, "Don't worry. Every day is like this."

"Don't say that. I'm sure better days will come."

"No, you don't understand. I'm not sad. Here, look at the pamphlet, and you'll understand why it's always like this."

She then handed Gen a pamphlet, and he began to read aloud, "Tolis Observatory. The house of the stars."

The girl then said, "Do you understand now? We are in the dome. There are a lot of great places to visit. No one wants to waste time going to an observatory to look at the stars."

And Gen said, "Well ... I found it interesting, and I'm sure I'm not the only one."

"Yes. There are indeed people who would like to come to our observatory, but since we are only open at night, I understand why most people prefer to go to a bar or restaurant."

Gen then said, scratching his head with one hand, "Well, I can't argue with that logic, but I want to go to the observatory."

The girl then smiled and said, "Are you sure you want to go there?"

And Gen said, "Yes."

"Good. I finally managed to bring in a customer. Come with me, please."

She then started to walk toward a building, but Gen stopped her in the middle and said, "Wait a minute. I remembered something. How much will it cost?"

The girl then said smiling, "Don't worry, it's on the house this time."

And Gen said, "Are you sure? I'm almost out of money, but you don't seem to be having an easy time of it either."

"There's really no problem."

"Well, if you say so, let's go. The two then headed toward a building, and when they arrived, they went inside.

Gen then said, "I didn't ask your name."

And the girl looked at him and said, "Pria and yours."

"My name is Gen."

She then took him to an elevator, and the two of them started to go up.

After a while, the elevator came out of the building, and seeing this, Gen was startled and said, "Where does this elevator go? Isn't the observatory on the terrace?"

Pria then looked at him and said, smiling, "Hahaha, there really is an observatory on the terrace, but we are going to another one."

"Where is this other observatory?"

"It's a surprise, hahaha."

Gen didn't say anything else, looked up, and thought, 'Where does this elevator go? I don't see anything on top of us.'

The elevator continued for a while, and Gen was so high up that he could see the whole island.

He then thought, 'Wow, this island is bigger than I thought, and what is that? There's water in the middle of it? Ahh, that must be the inner beach, and it looks like there's something in the middle of the water. It looks like a tower, hmm.'

Gen then asked, "Pria, what's that tower in the middle of the water?", and pointed in the direction of it.

And Pria said, "That's Atlantis."
