Aquarius

The place continued to shake for a while, and then suddenly, the ceiling and wall around Gen and Isabelle began to disappear.

Gen then looked around and said, "Wow. How beautiful. The stars look so close."

And Isabelle said, as she looked up, "It's true. I've had this view so many times, but I never get tired of it."

"Do you come here often?"

"Once a year."

"Is there a special reason?"

"I come here to find out where the water temple will appear."

"What does this place have to do with it?"

"Well, the water temple has a special relationship with a constellation. You could even say it is one of its houses."

"Which constellation?"

"Aquarius."

"I see, but why is the water temple considered one of its houses?"

"Well, because of an old story. Would you like to hear it?"

"Sure, why not? I bet it will be interesting."

"It really is, but well, let's get started."

...

A long time ago, when the city of Arpolis had just been created, many families from all over moved there with the hope of better lives, and one of those families was Aquarius' family. He was only five years old when he arrived in the city and didn't really understand what was going on.

He found the new place frightening. It was full of people he had never seen and food he had never eaten before. The young Aquarius was then afraid to leave the house, and every time he had to go out, he trembled and cried a lot.

Seeing their son's situation, Aquarius' parents discussed whether it would not be better to leave the city, and after a long discussion, they decided that this would be best.

They packed up their things for the trip, but before they left, Aquarius' father wanted to take him somewhere.

He then took Aquarius in his arms, covered his vision with his chest, and began to walk. Some time then passed, and Aquarius' father said he could open his eyes.

He then pulled his face from his father's chest and began to look around, and what he saw made him speechless.

...

Gen then asked, "What did he see?"

And Isabelle said, "The sea."

...

Aquarius' father had taken him to a beach to see the sea before they left. He then led Aquarius toward the water and placed him on the ground so that he could feel it against his feet. Aquarius was afraid at first, but as time passed, he began to enjoy the sensation and began to laugh as he moved in the water.

His father then came over and played with him in the water for a while, but after some time, he picked him up and said it was time for them to leave.

Aquarius then asked if they could go there the next day, and his father said no because they were leaving town. Aquarius then said he didn't want to leave, and his father asked why since Aquarius didn't like living there.

Aquarius then said that he liked it there now and that he didn't want to leave. His father asked him if he was sure, and he said yes.

The two then returned home, and Aquarius' father explained the situation to his family, who were very happy that they didn't have to return from where they came from.

The next day, Aquarius' father took him to the beach again, and this kept repeating itself for a long time until, at the age of ten, Aquarius was no longer afraid of the city and started going to the beach by himself.

After five years of going there every day, Aquarius knew the beach like the back of his hand, and then one day, when he was playing in the water as he had always done during those five years, Aquarius had an illumination. He began to understand the essence of the water, and after the process was over, he was amazed at what he could do with his essence.

He then returned home, and when he showed his essence to his family, everyone was very happy. They even threw a party to celebrate.

Several years then passed, and Aquarius was already forty years old, and his essence was at the Natural level. Everyone in the city knew him, and many admired him. Thus, he was chosen to be the King of the city. He tried to say that he didn't want this position, but after much insistence from his family and friends, he finally accepted.

Some years passed with him as king, and due to the responsibilities he had, with each passing day, he stopped doing what he loved, which was to be near the sea.

Time went on, and it only got worse. In the year he turned fifty, he couldn't go even one day to the beach that he loved so much, and when he realized this, he was outraged. He never wanted to do any of these things. He just wanted to live his life quietly by the sea, but at the point he was at, he didn't have the courage to give up his responsibilities and abandon his people, his friends, and his family.

He went for days without proper sleep, thinking about what he could do. Until one day, while looking at the sea from afar, he had an idea that would solve all his problems.

He then explained his idea to his friends and family, and they all said that he should stop dreaming and that it was impossible, but he didn't let this shake him.

Aquarius then began to plan how he would make his idea come true, and after a few more years had passed, after visiting a nearby kingdom, he discovered how he would realize it. There, he found that above the level he was at, there was the King level and that at the King level, his essence would allow him to realize his idea.

He then spent some years studying water and trying to understand it better than he already understood it, but when he reached the age of sixty, he realized that none of this was working, so he decided to try to realize his idea in the way he was.

The next day, Aquarius gave up his position as king and told all his people what he was about to do. This created chaos in the city, and many called him crazy, but none of this mattered to Aquarius. He just wanted to be able to be by the sea again.

He then went to the beach that he had been going to since he was a child, and several people followed him there to see what he was going to try to do.

Aquarius then went into the water and began to pull the water out of the sea slowly. He then made a ball on top of his head, and with each passing second, the ball grew larger. It started the size of a fist, went on to become the size of a person, and then a house, and so on. Until it reached a point where it was big enough to cover the entire beach he was standing on.

He then tried to keep pulling the water in, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't do it. It seemed that he had reached his limit, and after some time standing there, some of the water that was in the ball began to fall from it, and with that, it began to break apart.

Everyone then moved away from the beach for fear of being caught in the water that was falling from the sky, and after a while, all of it had fallen. The people returned to the beach to check on Aquarius, and when they arrived, they saw that he was standing in the same spot, completely soaked as he stared out at the sea.

Many began to say that they already knew he couldn't do it and that it was a crazy idea, and most people agreed with this, but a small part of the people still had some hope that he might do it and do something never seen before. The people stayed there for a while longer to see if Aquarius would try again. Still, seeing him standing there for almost an hour without expressing any intention of doing so, people slowly began to leave.

The beach was getting emptier and emptier, to the point where only Aquarius was there, standing looking out at the sea. He then clenched his fists and thought that maybe it was time to give up. He threatened to retreat, but then he heard a voice from within his body saying, no. It said that he would not accept this. It said that he could not give up.

He then tried to reason with the voice and said that he did everything he could, but even then, he couldn't realize his wish. He was about to give up when he heard the voice say within himself, and then he repeated, "If I cannot be near the sea, I will make the sea be near me!"

He then started to walk towards the sea, and when he reached the water, instead of sinking, his feet stepped on it as if it were something solid. He then walked over it for a while, to the point where he came to a desert island.

Aquarius then closed his eyes for a while, and when he opened them again, you could see the determination he had in them. He then began to lift the seawater into the air and, along with it, the island in front of him. The process was very difficult, and even after hours of trying, he could barely move them, but then he shouted, "Nothing in the world will stop me from reaching my goal! It doesn't matter how difficult, improbable, or impossible it is! Nothing will stand in my way! If the sea didn't belong in the skies, from today onwards, it does!", and then suddenly Aquarius went into a trance, and slowly a crown began to form on his head.

After some time, the crown was completed, and Aquarius then came out of the trance. He had finally succeeded in becoming a king, and he could feel that with the power he now had, his dream could come true.

He then wasted no time, and more easily than he thought it would be, he lifted the sea out of its place, along with the island in front of him, and as he pulled the water out, he realized that the surrounding water was not filling the hole he had made.

He then used the seawater to trap the island in a sphere and then carried it towards the city. Upon arriving at the city, everyone was shocked to see the sphere. Aquarius then carried it to the center of town, and then, as easily as if he were putting up a picture on the wall, he placed the sphere of water hanging above the town and then said, "From this day on, this is my home!"
