It's wrong

Gen then stopped imitating the orb's movements and started looking at it thoughtfully.

Raja then said, "Why did you stop Gen? Did something happen?"

And Gen said, "There is something strange about the movement of this orb."

"Something wrong? What do you mean? It seems to be moving normally to me."

"I get the impression that some of its movements are wrong."

"What do you mean wrong?"

"I can't explain it. It's just the impression I get."

Lina then said, "If they are wrong, why don't you fix them?"

And Gen said, "I wish I could, but there are too many possibilities. If I try them one by one, we'll be here forever."

"Then you just need to get it right the first time."

"Stop kidding, Lina. It's not going to be that easy, and even if I get lucky, there's more than one wrong move. So there's no way to get through them all by chance."

"Gen, stop complaining and just try it. Nobody cares if you succeed or not. There is another method of getting the silver orb, so if you don't get it, as expected, we'll still get the orb."

"That's true, but what do you mean, as expected?"

"Gen, I didn't want to say it like this, but it's obvious that you're not going to get it. You were lucky to find out how to get the bronze orb by accident, but that doesn't mean that the silver orb will be the same. If it were up to me, you could stop trying right away, and we'll get on with it."

"... Let's see who won't make it."

He then turned his attention back to the silver orb, and Raja said, "Good job, Lina."

And Lina said, "I spent three years living with this idiot. If there's one thing I know, it's that he doesn't like to be underestimated, hahaha."

Gen then went back to imitating the silver orb, and after some time of imitating it, he thought, 'It seems like every five moves, there's a wrong move. Let's try to change them now.'

He then continued imitating the orb's movement until a moment when the orb went left, and Gen decided to go right, but he then stopped briefly and thought, 'That's not it, my movement isn't right either.', and then went back to imitating the orb.

He then tried a few more times to change his movement to maintain the sensation he was feeling, but after several attempts, he still had not succeeded.

Gen then thought, 'I can't find the right way. What do I do?', and so he kept trying, and as he tried, each time he thought, 'It went right, I'll try to go forward, damn it, it's not right. It went backward, I'm going to try to go left now, damn it, wrong again.'

This went on for a while, and he then thought, 'Damn it, it's not possible. There has to be some way to find the right move. It can't just be luck. Maybe I should try looking around the room, on the floor, and the ceiling to see if there's anything that catches my eye.'

Gen continued in these thoughts as he imitated the orb's movements and became really focused on how to figure out the right movement he needed to make. He stayed at it for a while, until a moment when the orb made one of its wrong moves, but Gen wasn't paying attention and just took a step to a random side, and the moment he took that step, the silver orb glowed brighter for a few seconds.

Everyone was then surprised by this, and Raja said, "The orb glowed. Looks like Gen has figured something out."

And Briny said, "Gen never disappoints. Looks like he figured out how to get the silver orb."

Lina then said, "Finally. I thought we were going to be here forever waiting for him."

Gen hadn't realized that he had got the move right and hadn't even seen that the orb had glowed because he was too focused on thinking about how to get the move right.

He then continued imitating the orb, and when he got to the wrong move, he again got it right, and then the orb glowed again. This happened again two more times, and after getting the movement right for the fourth time, something unexpected happened. Gen began to move before the orb made any movement, and then the orb began to imitate him.

This then continued for some time until a moment when the orb glowed and stopped moving. Seeing this, Raja approached Gen and said, "Nice one, Gen. I knew you would figure out how to get the orb the right way."

Gen then said nothing and kept moving back and forth, and Raja asked, "Hey, Gen. Didn't you hear me? The orb has already stopped moving.", but Gen continued without answering.

Lina and Briny then approached, and Raja said, "Gen isn't answering me."

Briny then said, "He seems to be very focused on what he's doing. What do we do? Wait for him to finish?"

And Lina said, "We can't wait. We still have a lot of orbs to get."

Lina then went towards Gen, held his shoulders, and started shaking him, saying, "Gen! Wake up!"

Gen then lost his focus, looked at Lina, and said, "What is it, Lina? I was trying to think of a way to get the movement right."

And Lina said, "What do you mean, Gen? You already got the move right."

"What? What are you talking about?"

"Look there."

Gen then looked in the direction she was pointing and saw the orb standing there.

Gen then said, "The orb has stopped. Did you do something?"

And Lina said, "Are you deaf, Gen? I just said you did it."

"I did it? How is that possible? I wasn't even paying attention to the orb after a while. I was just walking around because it helps me think."

"Well, then you got lucky because the orb was reacting to you."

"Damn. I don't know how I did it. How are we going to get the other orbs?"

"Don't worry. You managed to find the right movement on this orb, so I'm sure you'll manage on the next one, too."

"Thanks, Lina. I'll try my best."

"You're welcome, Gen, but never forget one thing."

"Hm? What thing?"

"Never forget that if you fail, we have another method to get the orb. So, if you know you won't get it, let us know so we can save time. In fact, if you want to give up once and for all, it would be better. You can't rely on luck all the time."

"Well, it was really luck, but I'll still try to get the orbs the right way."

"All right, let's hope that Lady Luck creates another miracle then."

"Next time, I'll do it myself."

"I'll believe it when I see it."

"I'll show you. Briny, take us to the next orb, please."

Briny then said, "Alright. Come with me.", and then she went down a hallway with the other three right behind her.

The other two groups that were there were in shock after seeing what happened, and the woman said, "He really figured out the way to get the silver orb."

And The man said, "That's right. I wasn't expecting that."

"When the orb reappears, how about we work together."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. It's better that I take my chances working with you than standing here forever."

"Ok. Let's work together then, and as a show of good faith, your group can have the first orb."

"Thank you very much."

...

Gen's group then proceeded down the hall and arrived in another room with a silver orb. They then looked around and saw that, as usual, there was a group of people near the orb.

They walked towards them, and then they heard a man say, "Hey you. Hand me all the orbs you got now, and I can let you go without hurting you."

The four of them then looked at the man and, after a few seconds, started laughing.

Gen then said, "Who wants to settle this?"

And Lina said, "I do."

Raja then said, "No, Lina, you just fought. It's my turn now."

"How is it your turn? You fought up there in the dome."

"Yes, I did, and right after me, Gen fought the dome group, and just now you fought. So now it's my turn again."

"That doesn't make sense. You had a lot more fun than I did up there. I'll take care of it."

Briny then said, "Relax, people. Let me handle this."
