There's something missing

Bram then said, "Have you figured out how to create the path?"

And Gen said, "I think so."

"What are you waiting for? Try to create it then."

"I can try, but to do that, I have to stop following the orb."

Kimi then said, "Then let's stop. I'm tired of running around."

And Bram said, "She's right, Gen. Let's test what you found."

Gen then said, "Are you sure? I could be wrong."

And Bram said, "Well, even if you're wrong, I think it's worth a try."

"Okay, let's stop surrounding the orb then."

"Okay, let me release the orb."

Bram then made way for the golden orb, which took the opportunity and came out of their enclosure.

Everyone then stopped, and Bram said, "What was the way you found to create the right path?"

And Gen said, "I will follow the moves I learned."

"Moves? What do you mean? The golden orb doesn't follow any movement pattern. What kind of moves did you learn from it?"

"It wasn't from the golden orb that I learned those moves."

"It wasn't? Where did you learn it then?"

"It was with the bronze orbs and the silver orbs."

"Hm? What do you mean?"

"Do you remember what I told you about these orbs? To get the bronze orb, I had to imitate your movements of it, and the same thing happened with the silver orb, but in addition to imitating, I had to correct some movements."

"I remember. Do you think the movements you imitated from the other two types of orbs are the way to open the right path?"

"Exactly."

Kimi then said, "You could have tried to do that before we spent so much time running after the golden orb."

And Gen said, "I would have told you if I had known that when we started. I just thought of it a little while ago after Alex commented about moves."

Kimi then said, "Got it. All right then."

Bram then said, "Go, Gen. Try your idea."

And Gen said, "I'll try it now."

Gen then closed his eyes and began to remember how he had gotten the bronze orb. He stayed like that for a while and then began to make some moves on his own.

As he began to do the movements, Gen started to feel the sensation of the right path, and then thought, 'It seems that these movements really are the key for me to create the right path.', and then continued doing the movements.

He did this for a while and then thought, 'The moves I did to get the first bronze orb are running out. What do I do now? Should I amend the movement of another bronze orb to replace this one? Should I insist on this? Should I use the movement of a silver orb?'

He then continued thinking about this for a while longer, and when the movements of the first bronze orb ran out, he thought, 'Let's continue with the movements of another bronze orb.', and then made the movement of the second bronze orb that he took.

As he did the movement, Gen realized that he was still feeling the sensation of the right path and then thought, 'Good, I got it right. First, I have to follow the moves of the bronze orbs, and I'd better do them in the order I got them to make sure nothing goes wrong.'

He then continued to repeat the bronze orb move one by one, to a point where he was nearing the end of the bronze orb moves, and then thought, 'What now? Should I repeat the movements of the silver orbs? Hm ... I guess that's my only option.'

Gen then finished the bronze orb movements and began to repeat the silver orb movements.

After he started imitating them, he felt that the feeling of the path was stronger, and so he thought, 'That's it.'

He then continued repeating the movements of the silver orbs one by one, to the point where he had repeated almost all of them.

Gen then thought, 'What now? What move do I make? There is nothing left to guide me. Is the path created after finishing all the silver orbs? Or do I have to start the process all over again? But if I start over, do I start with the bronze or silver orbs?'

Gen kept thinking and was getting closer and closer to the end of the moves he knew until he got there, and then thought, 'I don't have time to think anymore. I'll have to try my luck. Let's start by testing doing nothing after the end of the movements.', and then after finishing the movements, he stopped moving.

Gen then realized that the feeling of the right path disappeared when he stopped, and then thought, 'It seems that standing still is not the answer.'

Bram then said, "Hey, Gen, any progress?"

And Gen said, "Yes. I could feel the feeling of the right path by doing these movements. It seems that's how you create the right path."

"That's great, but it doesn't seem like you got on the right path."

"I didn't really. I'm having a problem with what I think is the end of the process."

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know what to do. I start by following the movements of the bronze orbs, then I go to the silver orbs, doing the movement of all of them based on the order I picked them up, and during that process, I feel the sensation of the right path all the time."

"I see, but where is the problem in that?"

"Well, the problem is that when I get to the end of the silver orbs, I don't know where to go."

Kimi then said, "Maybe the movements of the silver orbs are the last ones, and you just have to wait."

And Gen said, "I thought of that too and just tested it, but it didn't work. The moment I stopped, the feeling of the path was gone."

Bram then said, "How about you try repeating the process from the beginning?"

And Gen said, "I thought of that too, but I haven't tested it yet."

"Well, I think there's a good chance that's it, you better try it."

"I think so too. I'll try it now.", and then Gen concentrated for a while and repeated the process he had done before.

When Gen was almost at the end of the silver orb moves, he then thought, 'This is it.'

Gen then finished making the moves, went back to repeat the process from the beginning, and after doing that, he thought, 'Damn. That's not it either.'

Gen then stopped and said, "That's not it either."

And Bram said, "Damn. What is it then?"

"I'm going to test some more variations."

Gen then started doing the moves, and started testing various possibilities of how to follow after finishing the silver orb moves, but none of them were successful.

Gen then said, "Damn. It doesn't work."

And Bram said, "Maybe this isn't the way to get the golden orb either."

"No. I'm sure it is."

"You are sure? How can you be sure?"

"Actually, I'm not sure. It's more like a feeling or intuition, if you prefer."

"Are you serious, Gen?"

"Yes. I can feel that this is the right way. We might just not be seeing something."

"Okay, but I have no idea what it could be."

Kimi then said, "Neither do I."

Alex was quiet as if he was thinking about something, and Gen then looked at him and said, "What about you, Alex? Do you have any ideas?"

And Alex said, "Well, I wouldn't say it's an idea. It's more of a reasoning."

Gen then said, "No problem. Anything can help us now. So, explain this reasoning of yours."

And Alex said, "Well, it's nothing too complicated. In fact, it's quite simple. I was thinking about how you are progressing in creating the right path, and I noticed a logic."

Bram then said, "What logic?"

Alex then said, "You start by reproducing the movement of the bronze orbs that you took, and then you reproduce the movement of the silver orbs, right Gen?"

And Gen said, "That's it."

"That's the logic."

"What do you mean?"

"Don't you see, Gen? You first reproduced the bronze orbs, then you reproduced the silver orbs, so now you only have one option, which is to reproduce the gold orb."

Upon hearing this, everyone looked at Alex, and then Bram said, "Your name is Alex, isn't it?"

And Alex said, "Yes."

Bram then said, "I'm sorry to ask this, Alex, but are you dumb?!"
