Chapter 10:

The next morning at 4:30, I could not sleep any longer because I was so excited about another day of training and because I had one of the best sleeps of my life. I was at peace and had the deepest sleep possible. I finally felt like I was myself. It sounds crazy, but I felt at peace.

I went downstairs into the dining room where Donny already had breakfast ready for everyone to eat. There were mounds of eggs, sausages, pancakes, and bacon. But then I felt a weird present, I walked into the living room and in Marcus' chair. There were three ladies in different-colored cloaks. Their cloaks looked very shiny, but dirty at the same time. It was as if they had never washed them, but they cleaned them in another way.

"Can I help you? Or are you lost?" I asked, expecting the answer to be one of the adults' play toys or their mate. They had to be someone that knew the truth because they were too comfortable and unafraid of the place where they were.

"Woah, she does look like Ellen. Well... minus the muscular factor. Just look at her. She has Ellen's eyes, and hair, but this girl has a darker skin tone. Still the resemblance is impeccable. How did Ellen keep you a secret from us all this time?" asked the scary lady with the purple cloak over a green dress and a finger pointing out every aspect of me. This creepy lady reminded me of Cruella de Vile and the Wicked Witch, but a little younger and a lot scarier.

"Uhm…so you know me and my mom. So, who are you?" I asked, keeping my distance from them.

"Oh yes, that is right. Ellen never told you about us. My name is Meisten Hexe or just Mei," said the lady in the purple and green. "This is Feuera Weiss, in the red and yellow. This here is Blau Weiss, in the white and blue."

I looked at the ladies. Feuera looked like a sweet little girl about my age with brown hair. I never thought I would see a girl that looked good in yellow, but she made that color work for her.

Blau was about in her 40's and looked like Feuera, but older. So, she must be her mother. I could see the family resemblance. "Okay, but how do you know my mom?" I asked with a curious eye on them all.

"We were in a witch coven together known as "The Sisters of the Woods," said Feuera, sounding exactly how I expected, like a little shy child but there was a sense of darkness to her.

"The Sisters of the Woods? Sounds like a bad Rock Band name," I questioned a little jokingly.

"As Feuera has already stated, it is an organization of witches that is here to protect all humans and witches from bad people and other supernatural creatures. Our most dangerous enemy is the wolves or the beasts, as they like to call themselves," said Blau with some sass.

"If you hate beasts so much, why are you in a house full of beasts? Did you ever think of that, smart ones?" asked Sly as he and the rest of the family came around the corner.

"Wow! Even the boy looks like Ellen, just in a boy form," Blau said, shocked. "How did you keep this a secret?"

"Well, we know now, and we came only to see the girl. And we did not know that the Brian that Ellen was seeing, was a beast and not just any beast but Marcus' brother. If we did know of this, these kids would have never happened. Also, once we did find out, it was too late to do anything because you and your sister were about to be born," explained Mei. She was looking at Brian and Marcus with so much hatred and was holding back Feuera for some reason.

"Eve, I was going to tell you about them today, because I called them yesterday and I did think they would have come in a week, but I guess not everyone is not about accepting and giving people a little time to settle in. But we can't all be beasts, can we?" Brian said with the attitude that I have never heard from him before. "How is the fiercest member of The Sisters of the Woods, today?"

"What do you want, Smelly Dog? I am only fiery with you around and the others of your kind," Feuera exclaimed with so much hatred she started to burn up. Well, that was until Mei came over and made her stop by touching her on the shoulder.

"Why! Hello, Meisten, how are you today? I see you are still a little too protective over the young who have not found their place in this world, isn't that right?" Brian asked with attitude and sass.

"What do you want, Brian? We are only here to speak to the girl, not to you," Meisten spoke with anger in her voice that made me see the Cruella de Vile side of her.

"Oh, you know, making sure my little girl, who I just found and got back, sees the true sides of all of you. Feuera is not the sweet little girl that is only here for the good. Then Blau is not the obvious girl in the room with that blue and white. And then, Meisten, are not as grandma-like as most think. What do you think about my descriptions, Snaky Blau?" Brian asked with pride as he put his arm around Blau.

With Blau looking like she was about to rip Brian's arm off, she looked him in the eye and said, "Get your filthy arm off me, you Mutt, before I show you how nasty I can be, Brian the Liar."

"Okay, okay. That is enough. This is not how we treat our guests," instructed Marcus even though I could tell he was enjoying the arguments. "How are you ladies?"

"Well, if it is not the alpha wolf, himself. The mighty Marcus Leitwolf coming down from his mighty throne to come to meet the common witches, even if we are below his mighty paw," Mei said with a lot of exaggeration. She even walked over to him and bowed, doing it with a shit eating grin on her face. The others followed with the same look, and Feuera could not help but laugh a little through her teeth. "Now, let us get down to the topic at the point. We are going to need the girl to start training as soon as possible. How about after we eat?" Mei added.

"Umm…excuse me, but I do have a name. It is not "the girl." It is Eve. Also, I do not care if you have a problem with the beasts or not; I am staying here and training to be a beast. You can stay here and train Sly and I how to be witches alongside the other training. Sly and I are both going to be trained how to do this because we are twins, and we must do this together. I bet Mom would want it that way too," I said, interjecting their conversation and saying what was on my mind, just like Mom told me to do when I was angry or frustrated.

"Nice job, Eve. Your mom would be proud even if it were against her sisters. I am also so proud to call you my daughter," Brian said as he came over to give me a high five.

"Brian!" Marcus exclaimed, giving him crazy eyes.

"Well, she has a point. They need to train together for the legend. So, what is wrong with it, even if we have to share a house with a bunch of witches?" George said, throwing in his comment. But I knew he did not want me to leave him in this house with all this crazy. Even if he is Kenny's dad and Kenny hates me, he still wants to protect the pack.

"Fine. But we are not staying in this house. We will take one of the shacks and make it into our place for a while. Okay. Let us get started on training," Mei said with a lot of frustration in her tone.

"Wait! What about beast training?" I was still confused.

"How about you do witchy stuff in the morning and then fun beast training in the night? You will also get some free time after lunch, too. How does that sound?" Marcus suggested, proud of the way he said it.

Nodding their heads in agreement, the witches left in a huff. "This should be great," Sly said with an eye roll.

"I am not doing this alone. I don't trust them," I declared.

"You trust us," Kenny said with a smirk.

"I trust Sly," I said, pointing to Sly. "You on the other hand not so much." He chuckled at the comment.

"Come along, beast boy and girl," Mei yelled from outside.

I let out a low growl along with Sly. "This is going to be fun," I transmitted to Sly.

"Agreed. And good job with your Gualta. You are getting good at this for just learning it once," he said as he held the door open for my.
