Chapter 23: Fruit

Josh thought of a hypothesis for his 'erase' spell.

'If I focus my spell on the thing that I touched, then, maybe, it won't affect those behind it.'

With that in thought, Josh found two rocks similar in size. He aligned the two and touched the first one. He focused his gaze on the front of the first one such that the second is colinear with his line of sight.

Since he had confidence that it will work, he poured much more mana compared to what he used earlier. This leaves him with only a hundredth or a very small amount of mana in his magic presence reserve.

"Erase!"

Suddenly, the boulder he is touching disappeared instantly. And to Josh's delight, the rock, the size of the first one, is still there without any sign of vanishing.

"Finally! Finally! Final-" Josh shouted until he is stopped by his own exhaustion causing him to drop on the ground and fall directly to sleep.

"A-a-a-arrghh…" Josh wake up with slight discomfort in his neck due to a bad position when he slept. He checked the time on his wristwatch and was surprised to see that it was exactly past ten midnight (12:10 am).

"Shit… I pushed myself too hard."

He haggardly got up and did some stretches to make his sleepy limbs active again.

He then wore his shirt since he is still naked on top, and looked at his surroundings.

"It's really dark here. Good thing I have set up those glow-in-the-dark ropes earlier."

He picked up his backpack and made his way back.

When he's halfway to the entrance of the forest, he heard shouting, splashes of water, and crackling of the fire. Instinctively, he hid behind a tree.

"Just give up, Matilda! I need that fruit to awaken my next element! I'm only a step away! Fire Assault!" He waved his arms causing a fire blast to attack a girl several meters away from him.

"Fuck you! Little dick, George! I also need this to awaken. And, I risked my life entering near the middle region of the forest for this! Water Barrier!" She then encaged herself in water.

"I CAN PROTECT YOU WHEN I HAD MY SECOND ELEMENT! AND, y-you only saw my dick once… when I flashed you… Ahh! Is this why you don't want me to fuck your virgin pussy? Because I'm small? HUH??"

"DUH~ who would want to get laid by you? Much more to have their chastity taken by you?! I haven't even accepted your confession! You just fucking stalk me and hang around me all the time!"

"Y-you… I thought you loved me? That's why you continuously give me your spit on the floor which in turn I lick after you're gone for a while… and you don't wipe the side of the toilet after you leak which I also lick when you left… and also…"

"DISGUSTING! Water Serpent! Water Serpent! Water Serpent!" Matilda then conjured three long snakes made of water that fiercely flew to the guy named George.

"You, bitch! I'm not even done yet! HAHAHA BEHOLD, Gargantuan Cannon!" A large cannon suddenly appeared at the front of George. It charged for a little time, until the water snakes are near its muzzle, and then,

*KABOOOM!*

Its fiery shell completely shattered the water serpents and continuously shot its way toward Matilda.

She expanded all of her remaining mana from her magic presence. Her water barrier held on for five seconds, but it completely shattered afterward

"KYAAA!" Matilda screamed so loud in fear of death.

She then got thrown a meter away. The shell of the cannon seemingly got canceled before it explodes. Keeping Matilda awake, but also in bad shape due to her body getting shaken and her magic presence exhausted.

"HAHAHAHA! I WILL TAKE YOUR FRUIT… LITERALLY AND FIGURATIVELY! HAHAHAHA!"

George approached her with a big grin on his face. She laid there with tattered clothes, little burn marks, and a face full of tears.

"HAHAHA! I LOVE THAT! CRY MORE!"

"No! D-don't do this! I w-will report you to the police!"

"Police? Matilda, Matilda, Matilda, the police only take action for those with riches. You might get reported as missing, but so what? Will they search so much for you? NO! HAHA! You entered this forest… There's effectively no law here… Just like the 'wild' the instructors talked about in classes… You're all mine now, Matilda."

George approaches Matilda while unbuckling his pants.

Matilda tried to stand up and run, but her body is too exhausted to even lift a finger. She is only awake due to fear of her getting violated.

George was only a small distance away from Matilda. He also had removed his pants, leaving him with boxers only, but a voice suddenly echoed in the silent night.

"Drain."
