"i talked a little too much today, i think i have a headache coming" byeol thought and sighed and then he fell


feiye tilted his head just in time to see the second prince falling. "oh no" he quickly rushed to grab the second prince, "feiye what happened we have to take him to the royal physician fast" the consort ordered. feiye carried the prince bridal style, bowed to the consort and sturbbomly replied "your highness the prince has strictly ordered me not to take him to the royal physician, he said if something were to happen; I should immediately head to the study, he'll wake up in due time" and immediately after saying that he left not giving the consort due time to reply. 


byeol woke up with a pounding headache, for the first time he was genuinely confused, what exactly made him faint? could it be because he was slowly changing the timeline or could it be because he did not belong in this world he thought before he could think further he noticed a warm cloth draped over his head and a certain pink haired  person staring at him " what are you doing here xingye?, where's feiye" the prince asked.


"oh" xingye smiled a sheepish and nervous smile "feiye went to get some things he said you ordered him to, so i decided to watch you"


 byeol said nothing, he knew what feiye had gone to get so he wasn't worried.


then on second thoughts byeol said to xingye "it's almost midnight, you're quite sick aren't you, go rest"


xingye was stunned, nobody knew about his fragile health except his mother, so how did the second prince know "how did you know?"


of course byeol knew because he had read the book he also knew that xingye wasn't The Emperor's son but he wasn't going to say that now because even xingye apparently didn't know that he was adopted "magicians don't reveal their secrets kid, just make sure you don't come out at midnight; I'm sure you'd hate to be hurt" byeol said leaving a stunned xingye in the study. of course byeol knew that the only reason he warned xingye was because he couldn't bear to see him hurt but he couldn't say it out because now he couldn't and refused to have any witness.
