Quiet before...

Taki ends up joining Yuki's squid, which includes that fat guy named Naru.

Taki didn't want to join them but after he know the contract that his father made with Yuki he couldn't refuse.

The truth of being a coward and inexperienced he knew very well so he hoped that this hunter's exam would kill the mouse inside of him.

When his father heard about his intention to take the Hunter Exam, he threw a big party and bragged about his son in front of everyone in attendance, that bastard as Taki calls him was the reason why he made an original defense technique to protect himself from him.

The damned thinks that he raised his son well only because he buys him everything he wants, but this only made him a lazy coward who never leaves the house, and when the results of his upbringing appeared, instead of punishing himself, he punished his son and here Taki's talent appeared in the magic of defense.

Taki didn't sleep all night so he reminded himself of his goals, why he's here and why he should pass this test.

Yesterday, after Yuki explained to him why he wanted him to join him, he learned that Yuki is the son of Yudai, his father's friend, so it made sense for him, so he accepted to join them without a contract.

After they passed the physical and psychological test, they later learned from the observer that the first hunt test would begin the next day, so they were transferred to another room for the overnight stay.

The room had four beds, the mattresses were stained with dirt, and next to each bed was a tall dresser whose paint said it had been here for years.

Yuki walked towards the window to open it after smelling the scent of sleep filling the room.

The window overlooked a forest of pine trees that quickly refreshed the room with their oxygen.

While Yuki was looking out the window, Naru and taki had already chosen their beds.

As soon as Taki flung his body over the stinking bed, tons of dust was thrown into the air and his body cast off with it so much fatigue that he had been possessing.

Naru, who is back to his chubby body, also tries to imitate Taki by jumping over his bed but ends up breaking three legs of it and dropping the locker on Yuki's head.

In slow motion, Taki saw how the treasury went until it reached Yuki's head, who was enjoying the refined beauty of the moon and the sweet sounds of the forest.

The locker reached the floor with Yuki there, Taki doesn't know why he didn't laugh at this situation and instead felt as if his lungs had expanded, letting in a great deal of air, he felt like he benefited somehow from their fall even though he didn't gain anything, strangely as if he had won Although he didn't do anything.

Yuki seemed unharmed but he didn't understand anything of what had happened, he looked around to see Naru lying with his upper half on the ground and his lower half on the bed that had only one leg intact.

"What the hell did you do bro."

"I was testing the quality of the bed and cabinet and this is the result."

Yuki sighed, pulled the closet away from him, stood up, took off his shirt, revealing his muscular body, and then lay on the bed next to Taki's bed after throwing his shirt into the closet.

"The hunt starts tomorrow, so make sure you sleep well. We'll wake up in the morning and talk about our hunting plan, so let's go to sleep now." Yuki said, covering himself and closing his eyes.

As for Naru, he just carried the closet and put it back in place, then removed the mattress from the bed that he broke and threw it on the ground, and slept on it even though there was another bed still vacant.

As for Taki, he has been waking up all night after losing his sleep, so he used the time to better program his defensive magic in preparation for tomorrow's hunt.

He hoped to find drowsiness on his way but his body did not succumb to him until the blackness of the sky began to pack his bags.

Taki didn't even sleep an hour before Yuki woke him up.

Taki has always enjoyed falling asleep undisturbed thanks to his magic but now things have changed as he aims for the title of Grandmaster and he doesn't even know why.

Of course, so far the only ones outside his family who know about his original ability are Yuki and Naru if we don't count Yudai.

"Wake up, Taki." Yuki kept shaking until Taki had enough courage to stand up from his comfortable lie.

With his head so heavy that he couldn't even control his balance, he felt that his body was weak and couldn't even move.

Yuki wants to make a plan for all the scenarios they can think of to make it easier for himself.

It may be that the one who heads the desired award is one of the testers like them.

It could be a magical beast at large in the pine forest that overlooks them from the window.

It may be a real one.

Or it could be something they never expected.

"There are many scenarios that we have to plan, we have a few hours to do this, no time for laziness, come on Taki, have some courage."

Taki raised his hands to the sky and began yawning and twisting, hoping to expel the drowsiness, but his attempt was unsuccessful.
