Chapter 36: Not Worthy

Upstairs, Albert Brown, observed Amelia Sanchez and John Fitzgerald dining together. He had clearly seen what transpired between them earlier.

"Young Master Brown, that kind of woman is unworthy of you!"

Angela Brooks approached, voicing her contempt.

Earlier she had been upstairs, observing Amelia Sanchez and John Fitzgerald's every move.

Without so much as glancing at her, Albert Brown passed by Angela Brooks who reached out in an attempt to stop him.

Albert Brown looked at Angela Brooks, who was grabbing his clothes, "Let go!"

The icy chill in his voice made Angela Brooks reflexively release her grip. However, she didn't give up, "Young Master Brown, as long as you divorce Amelia Sanchez, I can persuade my grandfather..."

She believed that she had humbled herself enough and that whatever she did was done with Albert Brown's best interest in mind. Therefore, she spoke softly and hesitantly, expecting that Albert Brown would be moved.
