Chapter 77: A Stark Contrast

Amelia Sanchez bumped into Albert Brown: "This is a clear contrast between the two of us, isn't it?"

One is capable, the other does nothing.

Mrs. Brown praised Mason Cole for being young and promising while disparaging Albert Brown for achieving nothing.

Albert Brown was used to it, not even raising an eyebrow, and Amelia Sanchez spoke right next to his ear.

His ear twitched slightly as he leaned in, almost whispering into Amelia's ear: "You don't know if I'm capable or not!"

It took Amelia a moment to understand, and then her ears gradually reddened.

Albert Brown looked at Amelia's blushing ears, and coupled with her extremely fair complexion, the redness made them look like fine jadeite, translucent and tender.

He licked the corner of his mouth, his throat moving a few times, "Let's go home!"

Amelia couldn't say a word now.

She didn't know what Albert Brown had in his head, but a casual remark from her could evoke a bunch of indecent thoughts in him.
