Chapter 288: Accident

When Mr. Brown arrived, Old Master Coleman and Albert Brown were at loggerheads.

Upon entering, he saw both of them staring at each other coldly; so, he didn't bother to speak, first going to check on Samuel Coleman, making certain he was still alive before disregarding everything else.

As he sat down, Mr. Brown glanced at Old Master Coleman, "You're not dead yet?"

"And how could I bear to die when you're still alive?"

Old Master Coleman's gaze shifted to Mr. Brown. Neither of them could draw away from the other's stare. Both were equally cold and self-important.

"What happened to your grandson?" Mr. Brown was the first to speak, but without showing concern, instead sounding as if he was asking Old Master Coleman if his grandson was dead.
