If it hadn't been for this meeting arrangement, Pierce Lennon probably wouldn't have come to Rising Sun Group's building.

He was living a leisurely life in the Moer Sect and had already grown accustomed to such a relaxed lifestyle.

After seeing Tobias Perkins, he greeted him directly, saying, "Tobias, it seems you're not having a good time."

Pierce knew everything but didn't say anything, only offering help when Tobias asked for it.

Tobias felt helpless and took a seat right across from Pierce before saying, "Without you, I really couldn't make any progress."

Pierce just laughed, not quite believing Tobias' words.

"Tobias, you wouldn't be trapped by a Leonel Sutcliffe."

Pierce was right, but Tobias didn't want to take matters into his own hands.

Dealing with Leonel like this would only dirty his own hands.

Pierce sighed and said, "During the time I wasn't by the Chairman's side, I felt less guilty, but now you've brought me back to the way I was."

Tobias didn't respond.
