Having no other choice, Roxy Jenkins followed Pierce Lennon out of the hospital.
Pierce led Roxy directly to the basement.
In there was Dr. Harrison, who hadn't seen the sun for a long time.
Although Roxy did not know who he was, she deduced from the information Pierce had revealed that he should be the doctor who had been cooperating with her at the hospital.
Before entering the basement, Pierce handed Roxy a small bottle of liquid.
The liquid was contained in a sealed brown glass bottle, and Roxy asked in surprise, "What is this?"
Pierce answered indifferently, "It's medicine. Be sure to have him drink it later."
Roxy immediately tried to give the bottle back to Pierce.
"If the bottle contains poison, wouldn't I be killing someone? I can't do that."
After the ordeal with Leonel Sutcliffe, Roxy had learned to be more cautious.
She didn't want to suffer from sleepless nights or be haunted by the people she accidentally killed in her dreams anymore.
