Chapter 1028: Everything Has Its Reason

Being close to the sea meant that one could simply walk to the beach, an admittedly generous perk. However, even with such favorable conditions, it wasn't perfect. The main drawback was the distance from the city center. Driving there took about an hour. If there wasn't a significant need, one could make do with what was available in the nearby area on a day-to-day basis.

But if one wanted to buy something large, that would be inconvenient.

After Gu Ning brought Tang Yuxin back, they carried all the purchased items into the house. He bought quite a few vegetables, including some potatoes that were nearly the size of a bowl, which was enough for the two of them for a meal. He bought some other vegetables too, and as for meat, he also bought a small amount just for the sake of it.

After all, these items wouldn't stay fresh for long, and stocking up was not convenient. But if they really wanted to eat something specific, no distance was considered too far.
