He is extremely smart but he will also make good decisions, bad decisions and also silly decisions. If you're looking for a perfect MC with no flaws... well...

The man that spoke was Kirby and he was a tiger summoner. He didn't like how Gryle always showed her emotions so much because he usually gets affected by the emotions of those around him easily. If he could, he wouldn't even be here. He would rather be with the other four trying to protect the other side of the castle!

Gryle kicked Kirby on the leg and he growled at her. He was currently in his Sabertooth tiger form and she knew how much he hated people touching him when he is in this form!

Pyrne rolled his eyes at their antics. He couldn't believe he has to put up with things like this every day. He turned to his wife and told her that he was going to the top of the castle to meet up with the other archers. His wife and the others would give orders on the ground here.
