Linlin dashed to the kitchen where she saw Adreanne preparing dinner. Athasia followed her and gave her mother a kiss on the cheeks before peeking.

"What are you cooking, mom?" She asked, smelling the delicious scent.

"Beef stew!" Linlin was the one who answered instead. She immediately dropped just by seeing the food.

"Are you guys tired? You seem to be going home late these days." The woman said as they all walked to the dining room.

The two girls nodded their heads and pulled a chair for themselves.

"Exams were coming and we wanted to study even harder. We went to the public library earlier too." Athasia said, thanking her mother who served her food.

"I feel like my brain is going to split up." Linlin snorted, drinking water while munching.
