Chapter 6 - Adam (1)

After he passes out he remained on the ground for a few minutes before some wild animals started gathering in his location.

The strangest thing is the fact that all of them is behaving calmly and even those that are prey amongst predator are behaving on top of said predator's head.

Moments later, a boar, a tiger and an eagle went forward and carried his body on the back of the tiger. The tiger lay low to allow the boar to push his body up his back while the eagle tried to lift him up. After the struggle, the eagle went and hold Gáe Bolg on its claws and followed the rest towards Fred.

(A/N: It's the tree, just in case you don't remember.)

The moment they reach Fred, it started blooming and its leaves are invigorating when they sense his presence.

The tiger and boar laid down his body on Fred's roots and allowed him to rest more, the eagle who has been following them from above, put down Gáe Bolg near him before flying to one of Fred's branch and staring at him while occasionally monitoring the surroundings. The rest of the animals, including the boar and the tiger, started lying down near him and resting while those who has strong instinct kept their attention to the surroundings to make sure that no one disturbs his sleep. They knew that unlike any other forest, there reside a powerful being inside this forest so they need to be careful and protect his body until he woke up.

This action of theirs is related to their inherent sense that belong to their ancestors, the animals of Eden, and they had this compulsion the moment they felt his presence.

No one shall disturb their creator's creation's rest, even if they are a God. The only ones who is allowed to disturb them is the creator himself, and the other creation of their creator that is made from a part of his body.

The creator made him to rule over them, to rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground. Because of this most animals apear to be naturally friendly towards him. As their creator's first creation on his image and likeness, he is only second to him and his angels.

Normally they would only occasionally check the surroundings and keep their ears up but earlier during the storm, they felt divinity mixed in the clouds and everytime lightning or thunder appears, though they don't know what divinity is, they know what it feels if a God or Goddess uses their power.

So right now they are on high alert because if a God or Goddess really did come and disturb his sleep, they can't do anything save for a few animals who has lived longer. The moment they sense even a specific divinity, they wouldn't hesitate to move him from his place to another, even if it means abandoning his favorite tree.

While the animals are continuously gathering by his side, we can see his soul inside his own dimension curled in a fetus position with his eyes closed, his appearance right now is a tall, young and muscular man with supreme beauty that can even aroused the gods. He has platinum-blonde hair, he covered his groin with a single classical fig leaf covering. Besides him is an apple constantly revolving around his body. His body releases a huge and dense aura of gold and platinum color.

Moments later, he gradually opened his eyes to reveal a big sky blue eloquent eyes that shines like the heaven's. His consciousness slowly came back to him the moment he opened his eyes and memories of his previous life started playing back in his mind.

"This memory... I don't know about this... I never had a sister, more so two incredibly cute little sisters, if I had known I wouldn't ever forget about them! But... the me in this memory... I don't recognize... who are you?"

He questioned himself while still looking through the series of memories.

Suddenly, his head felt a stinging pain before vanishing and with it came his answer.

(1st POV)

My name is Adam, Kasugano Adam. A half-british half-japanese boy. I was an orphan at a Japanese orphanage that got adopted by two lovely couples. I am three years old when they adopted me but I surprisingly have high intelligence for a kid my age.

I was already practicing Kanji even though I've only started to learn a few months ago. Fortunately, instead of being scared, the couple instead became happy for me and it also made me feel happy.

A few months later, we found about that my Mom, as I like to call her now, is pregnant for the first time. When they get to check-up they found out that it was a twin, I was very exited because I'm gonna be a big brother now even though we are not related by blood, I'll make sure to love them just like I would if I have blood-related siblings myself. Though that would be hard as well because of obvious reasons.

9 months later, Mom's water broke. My father panicked for a moment but then immediately contacted a hospital to get my mother some medical care.

(A/N: Forgive me for my lack of knowledge regarding medical terms.)

We rushed into the hospital with my father holding my mother's hand and constantly giving her comforting words.

We arrived at the hospital and my mother was put in the emergency room for labor, my father and I were outside and he kept pacing back and forth while I sat there and looked at him and the door to the emergency room back and forth as well.

At this time I already knew about pregnancy and sex so I'm not like those kids who innocently looks at everything not knowing what is happening. So I just patiently waited in my seat waiting for a doctor to come out of the room. My father also calmed down after a few dozen minutes and sat together with me, frankly I am also worried because I read that some pregnancies tend to fail and the chances increases the more babies there are.

A couple of hours later, a doctor comes out and my father immediately grabbed him and asked, "Doctor, how is my wife? Is she okay? Did anything go wrong? Where are my babies?" and many more.

The doctor grabbed my father's arms and peeled it away from him before giving my father a smile, "Congratulations Kasugano-san. You have two healthy baby girls. Your wife is okay, she is inside. Now if you'll excuse me, I have other patients to tend to." and the doctor walked away.

My father was in daze for a few seconds before darting inside and look at mom holding two babies in her arms, my mother, seeing me and my father, smiled.

"Look, dear. Aren't they beautiful little creatures? Look, this one has your eyes." she said while looking at my two baby sisters lovingly.

"Of course. They take after their mother after all." my father said jokingly.

My mother glared at him for a moment before sighing. "Anyway, what do you think m we should name them? I think Hana and Kasumi would be great but I'll consider your opinion." she stated.

"Hmm. I think the name would be good but I have a better one. How about Haruka and Sora. Haruka(悠) as in "permanence" and Sora(穹) as in "sky"." my father said with a smile.

"Um. I think it's great. From now on you would be known as Kasugano Haruka and Kasugano Sora." my mother said before kissing each of their foreheads which made them smile.

They flirted for a moment before mom finally noticed my presence with a startle, I deliberately lessened my presence to make room for both of them and only now did I return to normal. I don't know exactly how I can do it but I just feel it.

"A-ah! Adam, there you are. Come here, look at your two new baby sisters. Aren't they cute!" she said presenting both of them in front of me.

"Un. They really are." I said briefly. I had always been a man of few words and was always calm, collected and carefree. I always talk in a casual manner, much to the chargrin of other adults who doesn't like my way of speaking.

Anyway, I digress. I caressed their faces with my index finger and it made them laugh somehow. I get this feeling of closeness when I'm near them, it's like looking at something precious to you. I always felt like this whenever I'm near a baby, and every crying babies would calm down the moment I get near them. Of course I feel this feeling with my parents and other adults as well but I feel less attached to them.

My actions brought a smile to both my parent's faces and they looked at each other before chuckling and staring back at us.

Mom remained in the hospital for a couple of days before being discharged and we get to go home. Along the way, I was playing with my little sisters on the back of the car.
