Chapter9: My science partner.

We were on our way to the lab. I was so tensed. We got to the lab, a sign written in bold letters 'LAB'. We got In and It was mesmerizing.

So neatly kept, arranged and most of all beautiful. The lab was painted blue and white. Blue stripes on a white wall.

Proper lab tools and equipments; like pipette, test tubes, test tube rack, Erlenmeyer flask, beaker, busen burner, barometer, Indicator, stopwatch, speedometer and so on.

It had properly arranged comfortable lab tables and seats. It was just mersmerizing.

"Now students get to your seats with your lab partner lets start the class. Don't forget to put on your safety gears". I Just went to my seat with less zeal.

I couldn't believe I was sitting next to a menace like Twilight. Didn't know who he Is yet, but i couldn't help but presume that he was a threat to me.

"Now class before we start, lets get to know about good old H2O. Before get to know what water properties are, can someone explain what water Is". Dumbfounded Joseph decided to raise his hand.

I bet he doesn't know what to say....sighs. "Great, Joseph you give it a try". He stands up jokingly.

"Ehm...I know that water Is a liquid which helps us In flushing the toilet". I knew he would say something like that. As the whole class laughs.

"Good try but, lets explain It chemically. Now class, water Is an Inorganic molecule which consists of one oxygen atom which Is covalently bonded to two hydrogen atom".

"I won't go deeper Into It... So lets try some experiments for ourselves for better understanding". My doom was near already.

"Well I would love It If all of you could conduct an experiment using Synthesis reaction. I would love It If someone could make a compound. Joseph and Silver why don't you go first".

Silver Just sighed In pain. As they were conducting their experiment...., a loud boom! was what we heard next accompanied with smoke.

"What happened". Sir Lewis asked, looking at Silver and Joseph black face due to the mishap In their experiment.

"Sir Lewis this big dumb! dumb! Messed up the experiment by adding Peroxide and Potassium". Silver said with much rage.

"Joseph what were you thinking mixing those to together. You should have asked first". Sir Lewis said disappionted.

"I thought It would create a rainbow compound". Just being more dumber than usual.

"Just go wash up". As they both exit the lab.

"Now since they failed to make a compound, why don't we try something easier like potassium oxide. So Fiona and Twilight make that for us".

Why me!. Lukily for me the bell rang. Phew....

"Okay now, since class Is over you all go home and prepare a project concerning Synthesis reaction between you and your lab partners. To be submitted In my next class. Your all excused".

As every one exits quietly. Aviva came towards me. "Fioona!...wow so Instead of making chemistry you and the new handsome Twilight Fall, gonna do It at home. Awwn, cute". As she pinches my cheeks.

"Aviva please stop I don't have time for this". As she Just smiles as we head to our next class.

We entered our class to find a teacher writing on the board. She was light In complexion and had a long curly hair.

We took permission as she lets us In. Heading to my seat, only to find Silver on my seat.

"Excuse me Miss Sylvester but you seem to be on my seat". She just stood up and glared at me. "Well Fiona Marvin my name Is Silver If your too foolish to understand".

"Well Miss Sylvester or Silver don't play a game when your not to sure of the opponent's weapon. It's an advice, before you pay the price".

I wasn't scared of Silver at all and was ready to give her a test of her own poison.
