Meeting with new people

Daiki and Sasha both had reached level 25. Ofcourse Daiki's stats increased quite much, but when compared to Sasha's, she had skyrocketed all her stats. It was thanks to her vampiric blood, but the difference between them became as clear as day and night.

As Dai tried to closen the gap and reach closer to her, she just grew stronger and stronger.

But this didn't mean that Dai wasn't strong. He could now kill the Crescent Bears as easily as killing bugs. His daggers now sliced the monsters like a hot knife slicing through butter. It was just that when he compared himself to Sasha, he felt himself to be weak.

Meanwhile he also practiced using his skill. It was an awesome skill using which he could replicate anything he saw as long as he had MP and materials. The only problem was his Dexterity and MP cost.

The bigger and more complicated things he tried to create, the more MP cost and Dexterity was required to create it. When he tried to make a detailed mud statue of Sasha, he was so out of MP that he had to drink some bitter MP potions. And overusing his Dexterity caused him unbearable headache that Sasha needed to heal him.

Although his helped him increase his Dexterity stat for some time, he had now used all the points of his skill and now he couldn't earn anymore extra stat points.

He could now only rely on items and levelling up until he saw the new message-

" has evolved into "

'Yaaay..... I thought it'd become so hard for me to increase my dexterity because I used all of my skill's points, but I got a new skill. Let's see what it does.' Daiki tries to read the text-

Increases the exp. gain from bosses by 20% and increased rate of dropping of rare items.

'WHAAAAT!? Now I need to kill bosses to use the skill? It just became more useless after evolving.' Dai sighed with his hand on his forehead.

1 month went by while they moved towards south-east. Their goal was to find a human settlement or a small city where they could find people other than themselves. Also they wanted to stay in a comfortable room since they were just sleeping in the wilds.

They reach a small town.

'What's this town?' Daiki asks to a shopkeeper.

'Varley' the shopkeeper replies, 'A small town where the adventurers come to rest during their journeys.'

'Oh okay. We got to the right place then. Let's look for a lodging to stay.'

'Attention! Everyone attention!'

There was a sudden announcement.

"Traces of orcs were found in the nearby forest. Citizens should not wander out in the forests alone. A group of researchers who had been collecting materials have not returned for sometime. So the adventurers are requested to show up at the guild for the commision."

"QUEST"

"ACCEPT THE COMMISION AND SAVE THE RESEARCHERS TEAM WHO ARE CORNERED BY THE ORCS.

REWARD: 6000 Coins, Your reputation within the Adventurer's Guild will increase, Hospitality and Respect with the town people will increase.

FAILURE: The researchers team may die, chances of increased hostility by the town people, may be given the title 'COWARD' "

'And we just reached the town' Dai sighs, 'Sasha, ready to go?'

'Yep, let's go' she replies.

They ask the directions for the guild and visit there.

'Welcome Adventurers. I believe you're new in this town. When did you arrive here?'

'Just half an hour ago.' Dai replies with a long face.

'Oh that's bad. We're truly sorry that you didn't get the time to rest. But it is an emergency we can't ignore.

I'm Jade, the manager of the guild branch in this town. Do you want me to register you two?'

'I am Daiki. Registering myself won't reveal my identity to other people I suppose. Will it?'

'No no it won't. As long as you don't want to reveal it yourself, the guild won't.'

'Oh, okay then, register us.'

'I am Sasha.'

'Okay. Just wait for some time until I complete your registration.'

Dai and Sasha discuss few things until the work was completed.

'Here. Your registration is complete and you are now an official member of the guild.'

'So now we can take up the comission, right?'

'Yes. Be careful on your way.'

'Okay, thanks!' both replied and went to the city entrance.

They saw a group of people waiting there. As they reached them, one of them starting shouting-

'Where were you two lazying huh? Do you even know how much we waited for you? We'd have been off until now only if the guild didn't told us to wait for you two. These newbies..... only trying to being carried by us.' The man shouted at them while making faces.

'Kind sir, only if it didn't took time for us to register at the guild, we would have been here quite earlier...' Dai replies with a excuse making face.

'Huh? So this is even the first time you registered with the guild? What are they even thinking of sending these newbies to fight orcs? Just how much can I protect?' The man says, with his hands on his forehead.

'You need not to worry about us sir, leader' Dai notices Sasha getting worked up behind him.

'We don't have anyone for us and we are ready to face death. No one will even mourn for us.'

'Hmph... I guess it's fine if it's like that. But still, don't give up on your life' The man seemed to calm down, 'Lets move on to the forest then!'

They all move towards inner forest. It was a group of 11 people including these two. Some people could be identified, magicians, fighters, but others seemed to him as normal people. Daiki and Sasha were walking behind them.

'I don't like that man.' Sasha tells Dai.

'I know, could feel that while talking to him'

'Why were you so calm? He saw us nothing more than nuisance.'

'He might show that, but I'm sure he's worried about us. We aren't old enough and watching us will make anyone think of us as newbies and weak. And being scolded for late, he wasn't wrong.'

'Well, if you say it like that... it's true.'

The leader walking in the front again shouts, 'Stop chit chatting and keep walking or might just leave you.'

Sasha pouts, but didn't say anything.

'Dai'

'Huh? What?'

'I can sense a person and some monsters there. And I don't think that person is there to fight, must be in danger.'

'Then I guess we'll have to seperate us from these people. Should be easy while walking behind them.'

And thus, they separate themselves from the group.
