Rank 2(Part2 Moon Formation)

The Yellow Sun began to emit heat and light into the void. However, it could not light up the void and only looked like a glowing dot in the darkness. The void of the black vortex was endless and no end could be seen. Even though the Yellow Sun was extremely huge, it only looked like a dot in the extremely endless darkness.

Yang Zhai examined the Yellow Sun and found nothing wrong with it.

After examining the Sun, he threw the Moon Stone into the black vortex with one essence stone. However, he made sure to throw the Moon Stone away from the Yellow Sun.

The Moon Stone began to absorb the spiritual energy from the essence stone. After absorbing the spiritual energy, the Moon Stone began to give off blue light before exploding. After the Moon Stone exploded, a huge moon-like planet appeared in the void.

It did not end here because, with the moon, another planet appeared as well. These things needed resonance with the world, to appear and be formed properly. However, Yang Zhai did not need that because he had already reached the Perfect Stage. He did not require anything from the outside world because his body itself was in perfection. The Moon planet was small, and the other planet was huge. Both of them were attracted to each other and collided heavily.

After the Moon planet and the other planet collided, waves were emitted to the surroundings because of the collision. It was not just that, mass destruction began to occur on both planets. The Moon planet slowly decreased in size as its outer surface was breaking off into smaller pieces little by little. Whereas, the other planet was being destroyed completely and disappeared.

The Moon planet became smaller and looked exactly like a moon.

A huge moon appeared in the void.

After the Moon appeared, it began to change its colors. Sometimes, it looked red, sometimes blue, sometimes gray, sometimes white, and many different colors.

In the end, the moon completely looked gray.

After that, Yang Zhai absorbed the spiritual energy with his aperture and another black vortex appeared around his abdomen after absorbing the spiritual energy with his aperture.

When he did that, a circular mirror barrier appeared in the void of the black vortex on his chest. Nothing could be seen inside the circular mirror barrier.

This circular mirror barrier was Yang Zhai's aperture.

Yang Zhai controlled the sun to appear above the circular mirror barrier. When the Yellow Sun appeared above the circular mirror barrier, the sun's radiations began to fall on the aperture. The circular mirror barrier began to shine after the sun's radiations fell on it. Whilst inside the aperture, the sun's rays fell on the essence water and the aperture walls.

After that, Yang Zhai controlled the moon to appear between the sun and the aperture. When the moon arrived in the middle of the sun and the aperture, darkness arrived in the aperture, like a night had arrived in the aperture.

Moonlight shined on the essence water. However, there were no stars on this night.

What was strange was that from inside the aperture, both the sun and the moon could be seen. However, when the moon appeared between the sun and the aperture, only the red moon could be seen.

When this happened, the essence water began to move out of his aperture and enter the moon. When this happened, the intensity of the moonlight increased and the aperture walls were being suppressed by this moonlight.

After that, new circular walls began to slowly appear from below the circular mirror barrier. These new circular walls would slowly appear and combine with the old aperture walls, making the walls of the aperture stronger and more powerful. However, during this, Yang Zhai had to move the sun inside the aperture before the suppression of the walls is gone, or before the new walls combined with the old walls.

This stage was the most difficult and crucial stage for a cultivator. If a cultivator fails to move the sun inside the aperture before the suppression of the moon is gone or before the new walls get combined with the old walls, then the advancement would fail.

Here, the complicated process begins. The advancement had to succeed at all costs or there could be many problems. First were the new walls that appear and combine with the old aperture walls. When the suppression process of the old aperture walls begins, the new walls start to appear and begin to combine with the old walls. And therefore, separating the two walls before they fully combine would result in the weakening of the old walls at best. And in the worst case, the aperture walls could also get damaged because of the forceful separation.

And when the walls get separated, a person's cultivation level drops. It depended on pure luck for how much a person's cultivation drops. It could only be a single sub-stage or they could be all three sub-stages, such as from the rank 1 peak stage to the rank 1 early stage. However, there are very slim chances of a rank dropping. Otherwise, mostly, only the sub-stages drop. There are slim chances of a rank dropping because the old walls combine with each other and become one. Such as, if a cultivator is at rank 3, then that means that the walls of rank 1, rank 2, and rank 3 have already combined into each other, making them a single aperture barrier.

Even if the sun could not be put inside the aperture, the walls had to be combined together to save one's aperture from any damage or weakness. However, even after the walls get combined, and the sun is not inside the aperture, the problem does not end. It's because, when a cultivator combines the walls, the aperture walls or barrier becomes stronger. And the next time, when a cultivator tries to advance again, it would become difficult because of the stronger walls. Such as if Yang Zhai fails to place the sun inside the aperture and combines the walls, then he would have to try again to advance to rank 2 with stronger walls.

And even if a person managed to place the sun in the aperture, the problem doesn't end. It's because, after placing the sun, the cultivator had to combine the walls successfully as well. And if the sun is half in the aperture and half in the void, and the suppression of the aperture walls ends, then the walls would break, and the cultivators would mostly die. However, if the cultivator manages to successfully place the new walls to replace the old walls, then there are chances of surviving, but, the cultivator had to get the sun back into the void and not into the aperture.

The suppression of the stronger walls with the less powerful essence water becomes difficult. And then the limit of the essence water also mattered. The more Essence Water a cultivator has, the more time a cultivator can get to suppress the aperture walls. This was the reason why a cultivator with more essence water had a higher chance of advancing than the cultivators with less Essence Water.

Even Yang Zhai, who had reached the perfect stage was not spared from this. If he failed to put the sun in the aperture and then didn't combine the walls, he would not be able to advance.

Yang Zhai slowly moved the Yellow Sun toward the aperture. He was quite experienced in this and would not fail if something unexpected doesn't happen.
