"He is really strong!"

"Sir, here are your one hundred and sixty mid-grade essence stones. Also, here's a rank 3 Ka as promised by the clans." The female at the counter handed Si Yu one hundred and sixty mid-grade essence stones. 

She also handed him a brown-colored jade. It was a sealing jade. 

Sealing stones were used to seal Kas in them. There existed sealing jades with many colors, but every jade came from one of the four kinds. It could be said that there existed four groups. And these sealing jades came from these four groups. Every group had different kinds of properties. 

These four groups were earth, sky, water, and air. The sealing jade that Si Yu obtained was from the earth group, having wood quality. This type of sealing jade was produced from plants and trees. If this jade was stored in a wood, its sealing strength would increase. All the sealing jades were produced naturally.

Si Yu took the sealing jade and stored the essence stones in the storage bracelet, then he left. 

"Wow, he really obtained ten thousand essence stones and a rank 3 Ka for nothing." 

"Not for nothing, if Yang Zhai had lost, he would have become a servant of the Ma clan whether he wanted to or not." 

"But still, he benefited in the end." 

The people who saw Si Yu take these things were jealous of him. They regretted not betting on Yang Zhai after Si Yu took ten thousand essence stones and a sealing stone. 

Yang Zhai entered the camp of the Bai clan.

"Junior brother, you were great out there." Feng Qi greeted Yang Zhai. 

"I am truly impressed by you. You managed to reach rank 2 and also got this strong without the help of the Clan, you really got a talent." Qing Fa followed behind Feng Qi and said.

"Senior brothers, thanks for thinking so highly of me." Yang Zhai greeted back. 

"I really thought we were going to lose because of me, but thanks to you, we won." Ai Hao bowed respectfully to Yang Zhai and said with a smile. 

"No worries." 

"It's you, Yang Zhai. How have you been doing in the previous month? While we are at it, can you tell me where you have been for the past months?" Elder Yu Ene and Elder Yu Ane also arrived and inquired. 

"I am doing fine, Elder. And as for where I have been, about that, I hid in the Ma clan for the previous four months." 

Nobody knew where he was for the previous four months, so he simply made up a story.

"Oh, that's something nobody could think of. No wonder, we could not find you. Even the Ma clan would not suspect something like this. You really played well." Elder Yu Ene said after contemplating. 

"I thought you eloped. I was prepared to welcome your kids." Elder Yu Ane looked around like he was trying to find someone and spoke. 

"No, maybe, he got ditched by his wife and wandered around lamenting over his love. After that, he might have gotten over his love zeal and decided to come back and vent his anger on the Ma clan, promising not to love again."Elder Yu Ene was not left behind by elder Yu Ane and stated with a serious expression.

"Yeah, you are absolutely right." Elder Yu Ane.

Yang Zhai was not planning to go by himself anyway. He knew his limits. If he tried to go by himself, then he might get surrounded by the Ma clan attackers. 

Yu Ane and Yu Ene left after instructing Yang Zhai. They also needed to deal with their matters. They were not worried that Yang Zhai would be attacked by anyone in the Bai clan's camp. The whole camp was under strict observance of their methods, especially the participants. And there were also some elders keeping an eye on the camp's surroundings all the time in secret. 

After a while, Si Yu arrived. He was stopped by the Bai clan's disciples, but Yang Zhai went and brought him inside the camp by himself. 

He brought Si Yu into his tent and took his bracelet back. Then, he also took the sealing jade from Si Yu. 

"Brother, that female said that there's a rank 3 Ka sealed in it. But I haven't examined it." Si Yu said whilst handing jade to Yang Zhai. 

Yang Zhai was not surprised after hearing this. Zing Ghe had announced at the start of the competition that the rewards of putting one's life as a bet were ten thousand essence stones and a rank 3 Ka. 

After this, Yang Zhai heard that the both Clans expanded the rewards after seeing that nobody was willing to bet their lives. So, Yang Zhai wanted to get twenty thousand essence stones, but it did not work out. The expansion of the rewards meant that a person could also get anything else as a reward besides the essence stones.

Yang Zhai was also aware of the sealing jades. Sealing jades had different properties and different ways of usage. Some people even used sealing jades as refining materials. 

Yang Zhai grabbed the sealing Jade and examined it. 

I cannot expect much: after all, why would a clan give out a top-quality Ka from their inventory? It would be best if it's even related to my goals: Yang Zhai pondered after seeing the jade. 

As he had requested for the rewards from the Ma clan, this Ka was obviously given by the Ma clan. So, why would the Ma clan give a better Ka to someone for free? This was the reason Yang Zhai's expectations were low.
