Chapter 16 : Final Phase of Town Rast Battle

Ariel and Felix ran towards each other. Felix took his claws out and jumped towards Ariel. Ariel used Alice to defend his body. They were striking each other without stopping. Ariel backed down for a moment. Felix found an opening and charged. But Ariel jumped in the air and threw Alice towards Felix. Felix used his claws to strike Alice. Suddenly he saw ten tornadoes coming towards him. He was shocked but he started digging a hole in the ground. The tornados were coming slowly. Felix continued digging until Ariel was above him.

"I still have one move left, Felix," Ariel said.

Felix looked above him and said,"And what is that?" Felix saw a medium sized wind ball in Ariel's hand.

"I name it Kaze-Kyu," Ariel said and threw the ball on Felix. There was a huge explosion. There was smoke all around. Ariel landed on the ground. Felix also stood up but he was huffing.

"Huff..huff that was a strong move...huff," Felix said.

"It's a surprise that you can still stand up and talk," Ariel said and called Alice.

"Heh...huff...you are strong," Felix said and sat on the ground. He was back in his normal human form.

"Looks like your powers are gone," Ariel said and started walking towards Felix.

"That's not a problem," Felix said.

"Why do you think so?"

"I am already…..huff...huff…..defeated."

"Yes you are defeated," Ariel said.

"Do whatever you want to do, " Felix said.

"I still have a job left. I will be leaving. Thanks for helping me for my warm up," Ariel said and left the place. Viola's soldiers then helped Felix to get up and healed him.

Toya started running towards Cris. Cris didn't run and took his position to fight. Toya came closer to Cris and jumped above him. Cris turned around and struck Toya with his spear. Toya defended his body with his sword. They both backed down and created distance. Toya again rushed towards Cris and so did Cris too. Cris was faster. He struck Toya again with his spear. Toya got an injury on his left hand. He didn't strike and backed down. But Cris rushed towards him and didn't give Toya any chance to attack. Toya's left hand was bleeding. He was huffing and tired. His eyes were blurred. He randomly swung his sword. Cris dodged the strikes again and again. Toya found an opening and used Thunder Strike. Cris left no stone unturned to dodge Thunder Strike but he got hit. He was slightly hurt. There was smoke everywhere. Cris couldn't define the location of Toya. At that moment he heard Toya's voice above him. Toya struck Cris with Thunder Strike. Cris couldn't dodge it. Toya landed on the ground.

"So cris seems like this is the end," Toya said while walking towards Cris. Cris had an arrogant expression. He had something in his hands but it was covered. Toya took the risk and decreased their distance.

"What are you hiding huh?" Toya came closer. And at that moment Cris threw some dirt on Toya's face and struck on the right side of Toya's body. Toya couldn't dodge it as it was too sudden. He was hurt and bleeding.

"That was cowardice of you," Toya said and held the spear of Cris with both of his hands.

"Everything is fair in war," Cris said and tried to push the spear more into Toya's body. Toya took his sword and went for the left hand of Cris and cut it. Cris was screaming in pain. Toya somehow took out the spear from his body. He was hurt too much. Cris was also bleeding but he got up and tried to punch Toya. Toya kicked on his chest and Cris fainted.

"That's the end...huff..huff."

As Anna chanted "Rain of Magma", magma were dropping from the sky just like water when it's raining. Viola was shocked. He couldn't defend himself but he created blocks of ice to block the drops of magma. But the blocks were melting in no time. He tried to leave that specific place where it was magma raining. But Anna threw hundreds of magma balls in Viola's way. She couldn't move as her legs were frozen. Viola got hit on his right arm and that arm melted. He used ice to stop the bleeding. He somehow came out of that place and the rain stopped. He took out his ice sword and rushed towards Anna to kill her. He came very close and just struck her, closing his eyes. But he felt that his sword was stopped. He opened his eyes and saw Ariel blocking his sword with Alice. Viola backed down.

" Viola, we should have a little chat right?"

"Huh? You have time for that?"

"Nope, i don't."

"Then fight and die."

"Then let me ask you some questions."

"Go on."

"Why did you close your eyes a while ago?"

"That's a secret."

"Then let me ask another question."

"Let it be the last one."

"Why did you save the cheetah clan?"

"That? How did you know about it?"

"Well Felix told me about you saving the cheetah clan. But he didn't tell me the reason. So I am asking you."

"My mother…...was a cheetah clanswomen."

Ariel knew what would happen next. He immediately took out Alice and rushed towards Viola. But that happened. Viola transformed into a cheetah. Ariel didn't stop and struck but Viola caught his sword and he couldn't move the sword.

"So you are a mixed blood."

"Yes, I am."

"What's with your cheetah form? You look more like a cheetah than Felix."

"That's because I am in my final cheetah form which is stronger and deadlier than Felix's one."

"I see. That will be tough."

Suddenly Ernam arrived on the battlefield with a stick. He was shocked by Viola's cheetah form. Viola punched Ariel on the stomach. Ariel was hurt. Viola went towards Ernam with his fastest speed.

"Old man, if I kill you this city will be mine you know."

"Th-thi-this town will never be yours."

"Even though I will make it mine," Viola said and took out his deadly claws and was just about to strike Ernam with his claws. But Ariel was above him with a Kaze-Kyu in his hand and hit Viola's head. Viola was smashed on the ground. But he got up somehow.

"That was weak Ariel.''

"I know. But I am not the one who will finish you."

And then Anna chanted "Magma Blast" and Viola got hit with it. He fainted and lost a lot of blood. Anna also had low mana. She asked Ariel to bring Viola to her. Ariel did as Anna told him to do. Anna used her healing powers to stop Viola's bleeding because neither Anna nor Ariel wanted Viola to die. Toya also arrived at the scene. Anna used the heat of her magma to melt the ice. And she was free from the ice. Ariel tied Viola with wind rope. Soldiers of Viola feared Ariel, Toya and Anna. So they didn't dare to attack him and they surrendered.
