FRACA AND SEAN - PART 1

30 YEARS AGO

" Thank you " Fraca said as she took the scarf from him.

"Are you alright? You look sad" Sean asked.

" Just having a bad day"

" Then ...would you like to turn it upside now ?"

Fraca smiled " sure "

They'd gone to a coffee shop and ordered some coffee

" You know sometimes telling a stranger about your problem is helpful. It's easy too . You wanna give it a try ?"

Fraca told Sean about what happened are the office and Sean has listened to her attentively.

" Don't take this the wrong way but I think your boss had always wanted to fire you because firing you just because you were late is a bit of stretch "

Fraca sighed "well that means I'm free for a while " she looked outside and smiled as she saw snow falling down " Christmas is near"

" Yeah, it is " Sean agreed looking at her and smiled.

Fraca turned back to face him " thank you for listening to me ramble ." she laughed " my bad I did t even ask of your name "

" it's Sean"

" Thank you Sean "

" Anytime " he replied " since you are jobless for now , would you like to make the most of it ?"

Fraca laughed" what do you have in mind ?"

Sean took her to an amusement park.

Fraca laughed" really ? Aren't these for kids ?"

" Then for today, we are kids . Let's go "

They went on every ride laughing to their heart content and suddenly when it was getting dark they finally had ice cream and walked down to the bus stop.

" I had fun today,thank you " Fraca said.

Sean smiled " I'm glad I could help"

Fraca saw the bus coming " the bus is here "

" Do yourself a favor. If you are ever having a hard time like today " Sean handed her his business card " give me a call "

Fraca took it and smiled " will do. Bye "

Sean watched her as she got on the bus and the bus left.

Suddenly, this wasn't just any normal December to him.

Later that night ,Sean went back home smiling and grinning from ear to ear.

" Did something good happen?" His mother asked setting the food on the table

Sean smiled " it's just feels good to be back home"

" That's a lie. You always talk about how much you never wanted to come home especially whenever Christmas was around the corner " his father teased walking in. " Who is she ? Are you getting married tomorrow"

" Father " Sean whined and his parents laughed.

" Let's eat " his mother said and they both rounded the table to eat .

Sean kept on peeping at his watch. Was she going to call? Or should he keep on waiting?

Sean was about to drop his phone when it rang. He hurriedly picked it up.

" Hello ?" He said with food in his mouth.

" Sean ? This is Fraca. Did I catch you at a good time ?"

Sean coughed and rushed out if the dining table to his room " yes , please go ahead "

Fraca smiled " about today, thank you "

" It wasn't a big deal"

" I would like to repay the favor. When next will you be free?"

" Tomorrow "

Fraca smiled " then I'll see you, tomorrow?"

"Yes " Sean said still staying on the call " aren't you going to hang up? "

Fraca laughed " yes, goodnight"

" You too "

When she hung up , Sean punched the air. He ran to his wardrobe to bring out what to wear tomorrow.

" Aish, I don't have anything"

He ran out with a small Bluetooth in his ear as a music played from his phone

He smiled .Today couldn't possibly get any better than this. He thought.

Sean was so busy occupied in his thoughts that he didn't hear when a highschool girl being molested by a group of 3 boys shouted " sir, please help me !!"

The following day at school, the video of the girl who was being molested , Bella had spread round to everyone's phone .

Bella couldn't look up with her head high because people laughed and pointed at her.

Dylan saw the video and got angry. How dare they do this to his sister ???!!!

Dylan rushed to look for Zane , who was the likely bully and when he saw him his anger took the best of him .

He launched out to punch Zane but Zane dodged it .

Zane smirked" you are so freaking predictable, Dylan "

" I'll kill you " Dylan growled.

" Really ? " Zane gestured at two of his boys " hey, take him to the back of the building. Let's have some fun. "

When they got to the back of the school building, Zane punched Dylan and he fell to the ground.

Zane chuckled as he grabbed Dylan's sister by her hair " look at your brother. He can't even do anything "

Bella, Dylan's sister whimpered in fear.

Dylan balled his fist and launched himself at Zane but he was punched by Carlos and Fred .

Zane laughed " finish him while I go play with his sister "

Zane left dragging Bella by her hair as Carlos and Fred beat up Dylan .

After school, Jason looked round for Dylan.

Where was he ? He called his line but there was no response.

Dylan ran home and went up to his sister's room and knocked the door " hey, Bella. Are you okay ? Open the door , please"

Bella screamed " get out. You are useless!!!! You couldn't do anything !!!"

Dylan sobbed softly " I'm sorry. I'm sorry for being weak so please open the door , huh ?"

" I hate you !!! Get out of my life !!!!" Bella screamed as she slowly sank to the ground as sobbed.

Dylan slowly sank to the doorstep of her room .

His grandmother rushed out and rushed to him as she saw him crying" my puppy, what happened ? Why are you crying?"

Dylan looked up at his grandmother with tears brimming in his eyes " grandma...what should we do ?"

Bella stood up from the floor and sat on a chair as she scribbled down on a piece of paper;

" Grandma, I thought I could hold on. I kept on thinking " it would be different tomorrow" but nothing was done. I can't live this life anymore.

I'm really sorry "

She folded the paper and placed in on the table.

She then stood ontop a stool with a rope in her hand , attached it to the ceiling fan and pushed the stool down
