Alchemy Tower [2]

Right after the 15-minute mark, the Exam Proctor entered the room.

"As you all know, various Alchemy Towers in Planet Luminous has been recruiting many talented Alchemists due to the appearance of that ruin. Don't take this easily, though. This kind of schedule will only last for a month, so do you best."

Thanks to his information reconnaissance before he took the exam, Lugh understood what the proctor was saying.

Basically, a new ruin has been found into this Planet. Since the exploration this ruin can take hundreds of years due to how big it is, new people would come here inevitably, thus the surge of potential talents in the various industries.

This time, the Alchemy Tower made a one-month long event whereas they will open the recruitment for one month straight. Do take note that they only do this twice the year in the past, so you can imagine how big this opportunity is.

"For the exams, we'll have the usual 2 parts-the written one and the practical one. The passing score for the Written Exams is 80%, so do your best everyone."

The exam papers were handed out by the personnel once the proctor finished speaking. The examinees began answering the exam paper without producing any noise.

'It's this?'

Lugh was quite surprised when he saw the exam contents. Even though there are some minor differences, he saw that he could still apply what he had learnt from the Zerg World here.

Thanks to him deciding to focus on just Panacea Making, he had mastered that path much more thoroughly. The theoretical knowledge plus his herb database can surpass those Earth-Ranked Alchemists.

Alchemists were Ranked as Mortal(Below S-), Blue(S- to S+), Black(SS- to SS+), Earth(SSS- to SSS+), and Sky(EX- to EX+). As for the Deity Realm Alchemists, they have an entirely different System.

'This.. and this? Hm..'

Lugh answered the written Exam easily. Though, he didn't pass his exams until a person who had finished his exams and passed it had appeared. This made him to be the second one to finish the exam.

After passing it to the personnel, Lugh went back to his seat. As he saw his Written Exam being teleported to somewhere, he continued to think about his plan during this time.

'The best route would be to make big bucks as an Alchemist. Still, I couldn't just leave my current strength this stagnant.'

This world had dozens of EX Ranks residing it. Thanks to the info earlier, he assumed that they also came here for the ruins that suddenly popped up in this Planet.

'It was said that the Ruins are filled with various Spiritual Materials..'

This was also the reason why the population of Planet Luminous inflated. Rare Spiritual Materials can be found on that ruins like a weed. Who would pass on the opportunity to strike it big.

Since that Ruins is also huge, it would take time to fully harvest the materials inside. Even after they harvested it, they could still keep the roots, making it so that more Spiritual Materials would grow. This would nourish the Market of Spiritual Materials of this Planet.

Half an hour later..

"Albert Webster."

Lugh's fake name was called. Knowing that it should mean that his Exam Paper was checked, he went to the Proctor.

"You got 95%. Congratulations, you passed."

"Thank you."

"You can now go to the Practical Test Room. One of our personnel would lead you out."

A female personnel popped up after the Proctor said so. She then began to lead Lugh to the Practical Exam Room. Not long after he left, the Proctor smiled.

'A good seedling.'

When he saw Lugh's paper, he was shocked. A 95% score. He just got a very high score from the Makid Alchemy Tower's test. That test is infamous for being so hard. Still, he got a 95% on it.

This is also the reason why he appeared friendly to him. He would lose nothing if he does, so why would't he?

'Perhaps a Star would appear on this City again..'

"The Practical Exams would be quite different than usual. I've heard that they modified the instructions in some way, so be careful."

"Thank you for the advice."

Just as what the Proctor did, the girl treated Lugh amicably. Not only is he handsome, the Proctor himself showed his goodwill to him by giving more information too.

"We're here. Good luck."

The girl smiled at Lugh before leaving. He then entered the room.

"Oh? An Examinee?"

The one who spoke right now is a woman. She wore an Alchemist's robe, similar to the one that chased Lugh with her Terminators.

"Excuse me, but am I the first one?"

"Hm? Yea."

It turns out, everyone who had finished the Written Exam and passed would come here. That meant that the guy who was the first one to finish his exam and pass it didn't make it.

"We need to wait for the others, so you can just sit there."

She pointed at the chairs on some stations. Since they are about to do Potion Making, a Station would be required. There are a single chair for every Station that was available.

Since this place only has 30 stations, it would be right to assume that there are more rooms like this.

"You are free to look on each instruments, but don't break them. The Alchemy Tower would charge you a fee."

"I understand."

Lugh began looking at the closely. Due to the fact that the Fusion Alchemy back in the Zerg World used a similar apparatuses to this, he quickly found out each of their functions. There are the microscope looking like thing, the filter, the burner, and so on.

If the Cultivation System's pills focus more on absorption rate and compatibility to the consumers, the Magic World's potions focuses more on the medicinal efficacy. They don't put restriction towards the Potions, thus there are many requirements whenever you have to consume a stronger potion.

The Sky Breaking Potion for example. It has the function of allowing someone who had been stagnant reach EX- Rank in one go when drank. The only condition is that he must be a Physical Type Combatant who far surpasses the norm when it comes to his physique's strength, or else he would explode and die. Even his soul wouldn't be spared.

"Yawn.."

The female Proctor yawned loudly, to the point that Lugh overheard her.

"Hey, what's your name?"

Surprisingly, the female Proctor took the initiative to talk with him.

"Albert Webster."

"Albert, right. Let's talk for a while until someone arrives. You finished the Exams too early."

"I just studied well."

Lugh smiled in this remark. Seeing this, the female Proctor rebuked.

"If someone can pass that Exam by just studying, it wouldn't have been called "The Uncrackable Test"."

"Excuse me?"

The female Proctor began explaining the things about the Exam. To summarize one thing, It's very hard.

This time, its Lugh turn to be surprised. He knew that he had messed up yet again. Still, he didn't care about this, as all of it would be pinned on his "Albert" Identity. He can just disappear if he wants to.

"It seems that you don't know the information about this Test?"

"Yes, it seems that I didn't do my research enough."

They continued to talk until another person arrived. After 30 minutes had passed, 30 Examinees had gathered in this room.
