After an hour of flight, Lugh finally arrived at his destination: A place filled with more than 20 S and S+ Ranks.
"Flight is really convenient.. Thank goodness that I've reached S- Rank already.."
His goal for today is simple, which is to gain EXP. To make sure that he wouldn't waste his journey here, he chose this place first. As for the reason..

All of his targets here are halflings. They are the so called Drakes—a halfling with a snake and dragon blood. Due to that, they don't have any wings, thus making them an easy target.
Lugh first appraised the strongest one out there based on its Life Level. He had seen it thanks to [Domain Detection].

[Regeneration] and [Fake Dragon's Breath] are the two inborn traits that the Drakes had. Since they didn't have wings, their attack consists of them rushing to their enemy. It was all thanks to those traits that the Wild Drakes survived up until now.
Even though the people in this planet had the power to exterminate these wild halflings, they didn't. The powerhouses here are confident enough that they won't riot. The reason that they're alive is that the Dragon Court wanted to nurture powerful Halflings and Dragons in the first place. Keeping them here is the same as having a combat partner.
"How should I go with this.."
Lugh, with his [Decisiveness], began planning. How can he kill the most Drakes before they noticed it?

Lugh began walking towards the group with the most Drakes in it. Thanks to Xiao Song being at S+ Rank, no S+ Rank can discover him, unless he attacks them. As for SS+ Rank and below, he could still conceal against them, though it wouldn't be as perfect as against the S+ Ranks.
5 Drakes were sitting next to each other. They weren't sleeping as they were vigilant on their surroundings.
"5 kills.. I should at least achieve that."
Lugh began executing the Diamond-Ranked Skill
-A Sword specially made for dealing Magical Beasts.
-The trait [Beast Killing] has been retained after devouring.

-A Sword Technique that enables the practitioner to summon a wave of Sword Intent.

-At Initiate-Level Mastery, the practitioner can unleash a total of 50 Sword Intent Blades.
-Consumes 15% of the user's Heaven Force.
This is the Heaven's Force technique that he got while he's searching for Aria's techniques. Thanks to it using 3 different kinds of energy, the consumption on each Vessel became lower overall.
When compared to just using Martial Force, which will use up around 30%, only 15% reserves were used up for each energy (Aura, Qi, and Mana).
A wave of white Sword Intent Blades was summoned on top of these Drakes' head, startling them.
"Krrr?"
Boom!
All of them got flooded by Sword Intent, slicing their heads in an instant. Because of how big this commotion is, other Drakes finally noticed what happened here.

Various roars resounded in the surroundings. They didn't spare no time as they used their signature trait, [Dragon's Breath]. Fire, Ice, Acid.. Each of thee breaths are different due to the Control-Type trait that they have. As for the others who didn't have one, they used the default Fire Breath.

With a thought, he avoided all 15 Dragon's Breath. The Drakes were stupefied, as they had never thought that he got a Space-Type technique due to their low intelligence. This was also why other Halflings and Pure-Blood Dragons never socialized with them.
Slash!
Lugh appeared right behind a Drake. With a normal slash filled with Controlling-Stage Mental Energy, nearly half of its body was slashed. Still, it lived. It's flesh began to wriggle as it tried to regenerate its lost body parts.
"Insane Regenerative Ability.. Just like what I've 'understood' from the books."
He slashed the greatsword at its neck this time, causing its head to nearly fall off. This time, he saw the familiar prompt.

"Roar!"
4 Drakes Rushed straight at him with great speed. This was the sign that they activated their traits.
"Why are the Drakes here.. similar to the bulls?"
Lugh used this opportunity to test something. He first stored away Little Xue as he roused up the power from the small runes in his body. Yes, he wanted to test his [Demon God Physique].
"Come on."
Boom!
Lugh gathered his power at his fists and punched the first incoming Drake. As a result, it flew away. It crashed into some trees before stopping.
"It's that powerful?"
Lugh didn't have enough time to think as 2 more Drakes rushed at him. He roused up the power from the runes yet again and blasted his fists for 2 more times. The result wasn't far from what he had expected. They all flew away from the power of his fists.

With his SS- Rank Combat prowess, it still wouldn't be simple to kill them all. As long as a S+ Rank is vigilant enough, even a SS- Rank would need to hit them more than 3 times before they die.

The remaining Drakes didn't remain idle either. Some of them rushed to him, while others used up their [Fake Dragon's Breath] again.
"Wait.. Can I apply it to Techniques?"
Seeing that the power of those runes differ from Martial Force, he thought that he could fuse them. He roused up the power from those runes while he started executing
"Second test. Let's go."
He rushed up to one of the rushing Drakes and swing his sword at them.
Clang!
As his sword hit the Drake head on, his attack became quite weaker. Still, that wasn't something that a S+ Rank Drake could survive. The entire head and neck of that Drake got split into two.

The first of the seven strikes of the
"What about the Seventh Strike? Could it kill a SS+ Rank in one hit? What about SSS- Rank?"
Lugh became excited with the thought of that, thus he began the slaughter. It didn't take long before the seventh strike was used. A lightning dragon got summoned from nothingness; runes filled up some of its body. Clearly, it was different from before he used those power of runes.
The lightning dragon roared before he went to its target.
"Roar!"
"Roa-"
This time, its body thoroughly barbecued to bits. Some of its remaining meat is charred black while sizzling. No one could've thought that this bit of meat used to be a Drake.
"This.."
Lugh didn't expect it either. He thought that all it does is to increase the overall strength of the body. He just tried to test whether it'll react if he rouses it, yet he got this unexpected result.
"I should test my traits more.."
Done with his tests for now, he killed off the rest of the Drakes with his normal strikes. It took him 2-3 hits to kill off each one, but it was already a good result.
"Recover first, then I'll do the tests again.."
He sat down first before consuming the jelly to restore his spent Martial Force. More than 60% was spent during the tests even though he could've killed them with ease with basic attacks.
An hour later, he stood up. He first collected the Spiritual Herbs and their Elemental Cores/Bones before proceeding to the next gathering point.
The Wild Beats still doesn't know. The menace that would exterminate them one by one has come.
