( Brian's P.O.V)

I looked at myself in the mirror. Gone was the thick costume I'd been using since my debut. The suit I was currently wearing looked form fitting. It hugged my body, showing off the results of countless hours spent honing my body to be a weapon. The blue layered out well with black. The asthetics of the material made it look similar in design to Invincible's suit from Invincible. All in all, I looked good.

Scratch that…we both looked good. Peter had gone for a different look too. He had replaced the blue parts of the classic spiderman suit to black and then added golden highlights to his shoulders.

We had done a powers test to find out what other benefits Extremis had given us and the changes were phenomenal - for Peter at least. I had only seen an increase of my Strength upto 180 tons. Which wasn't an overly huge increase. Just a 20 ton increment. Though it was still appreciated. Peter on the other hand had firmly entered the class 100+ in strength alone.

I wondered why there was such a difference between us but Peter had chalked it up to my being strong already. I had my own conclusions though. Peter already had incredible strength granted to him by the spider but the problem was his body's low durability to use that strength fully without tearing muscles and tendons. The enhancement given by Extremis had been big enough to push his durability to a level where he could use his full strength effectively.

I doubt he would be hurt by small caliber bullets as he was currently.

"The domino mask has to go Pete. It's too risky. Facial recognition will out me pretty quickly. Not to mention the whole fiasco with the Paladins. If Roland could find out my identity that easily, chances are someone else could. I want to make it harder for them."

He frowned a little.

"Well…i thought you could construct one of your seals on it? Too make yourself less recognizable."

"Seals don't work like that…but I might have an idea."

I lightly pulled on my ki and molded it above my skin. My jaw got more squarish, my green eyes shifted to blue due to a thin layering of ki and my black hair changed to white. This precise control of my inner energy came about through intense practice sessions. It was kind off uncomfortable though. Like wearing heavy make-up. Hopefully, I would grow used to it.

Looking at the mirror again, a completely different person stared back at me. I kind of looked like Kaldur from young justice. Except my eyes were blue instead of a silver grey.

"Whoa. If I didn't know who you are, I'd take you for a complete stranger."

I smiled at Peter's comment.

"Thanks. This will keep my vigilante persona separate from my real life one."

"Yeah. All you need now is a cape…"

"No. No capes. Never capes!"

I killed that idea instantly making Peter laugh at my reaction.

"Come on…you can fly now. A cape would suit you a lot. For aerodynamic purposes of course."

I rolled my eyes. The only way I was ever going to get a cape is if it had the same functions as Dr.Strange's cape. Hold on there's an idea…

An alarm started going off from the main console. Peter had created a program to inform us when a catastrophic event akin to the Goblin one happened again. We quickly ran over to the screen and picked up on some communications from an airplane control tower.

"God. There's a plane on direct collision with the Brooklyn bridge. The 2 left engines are busted. We need to go."

Peter said frantically.

A frown worked it's way across my face despite the gravity of the situation. This incident was suspiciously convinient. Just when I acquired the ability to fly…an accident in need of that same ability occurs. Then again…this was a world governed by different logic. Plot armor was a thing. Spiderman was the living proof it.

"Meet me there."

I said to Peter once we were top side. I bent my knees for more push then shot off. The wind whipped through my hair as I brought my hands forward. My ki formed a cone Infront my body that was imperceptible to human sight. The drag from the air pressure lessened and I increased my speed even more. A huge blast of noise exploded behind me as I broke the sound barrier.

Instantly I closed the distance from Queens to Brooklyn and headed directly towards the aircraft coming in hot. I spread out my hearing and heard the screams of people from inside the plane. I filtered through the noise and picked up the Captain's voice from the din of voices.

"Everyone buckle up. I'm going to try and land us in the water!"

"What about the bridge Jim!"

His co-pilot shouted at him in terror. The Captain didn't say anything else. Confirming my suspicions that he wasn't confident about dodging the bridge. Not with two busted left engines.

These people were going to die… but not on my watch. I pulled up below the plane and turned True Reveal on. My improved vision speared through the planes structure and I knew where to hold it.

I placed my hands on the underbelly and then a wave of ki spread out of me to cover the whole plane. I then pushed up on the plane. A weight of a little over 180 tons pressed on me and I was suddenly thankful for my recent powerup. I strained though and my ki reserves started going down as I simultaneously reinforced the plane not to fold over me and break apart while a burst of the rest of my ki was released through my feet to give me a boost to carry the plane over the bridge.

My muscles protested as the huge chunk of metal rose up through the air due to my power. A feat that was only worthy of a god. I wasn't narcissistic but it was crazy to think about how far I had come. I gently lowered the aircraft as the people inside stopped screaming in terror.

Then I settled the aircraft near the banks of the east river where evacuation and paramedic response were already waiting. Spiderman was on scene too. Once the plane was floating on the water, Spiderman shot a few webs to anchor it to the banks as I broke out of the water. I floated down to the banks of the river and breathed in heavily. A lot of people had gathered around the plane and Spiderman quickly swung in to open the hatch door. He made an intricate web that helped the passengers get off the plane safely.

After making sure everyone was ok, I got up to leave. People started chanting our names and I smiled. I nodded to Spiderman and flew away. He was much better at talking to our fans than I was. I had little patience for people. A true loner I was.

The whole week, we were trending on the news and internet again. People wanted to know everything about who we were. Others were going crazy for the different costume changes but most of all people were wondering why I could finally fly. Many conspiracy theories talked about how we were government experiments and stuff like that and many reporters, news outlets and shows wanted to interview us. We ignored all that.

Peter was unfortunately caught in one or two interviews and fell prey to the tricks of reporters twisting his words but I always flew away before any reporters could call out to me. Flying was awesome man, it could get you out of anything really.

The only thing I was still stuck on was figuring out teleportation. Which would then lead to Planes walking. I was really near although I was missing something. If there was a progress bar it would be stuck at 99%.

In the meantime I decided to focus on another side project. It had started out as a joke but I was actually shaping up to become a Superman replica. I already had Super strength, super durability, Super healing though mine was Extremis based while his was more through solar energy. I also possessed varying types of Supervision through True Reveal. He had a bio-kinetic aura while my ki served that same function. There were roughly only 3 noticeable powers he had that I didn't. Which were, Super-speed, Heat vision and ice breath.

2 of those were relatively easy enough to acquire. Case in point, I was standing before a sheet of metal in my training clothes inside the training room. Pete was in his lab tinkering with something or other so I was alone.

I pulled on my ki which had become easier now and sent it to my eyes. My eyes gained a blue glow as the air around my face grew smoldering. Unfortunately I had pulled on too much. A shout of pain made me shut my eyes suddenly. Extremis did it's job and healed my damaged eyeballs. In a few seconds the blurry vision disappeared and I smiled. Extremis was a fucking cheat.

This time I pulled on a sliver of my ki and tentatively sent it to my eyes once more. They gained the familiar blue glow and just as I neared the limit of my eye's durability...I pushed out the energy. A blast of twin blue beams exploded out of my eyes and curved through the metal sheet as if it was butter.

The energy didn't dissipate like I'd thought and continued to shoot through the walls of the training room to the next room.

Peter's bewildered face appeared through the molten slag of concrete.

"What in god's name was that?"

I winced.

"Sorry Pete. I was just testing out a new move."

He looked at me and shook his head.

"Next time test out your moves outside. I don't want you bringing the building down on my head."

I gave him a thumbs up. I hadn't expected that to be so powerful!

I had a feeling that that was going to become a favorite move of mine. Next was super speed. To be honest, I already had an idea on how to do it. My ki powers had taken a lot of inspiration from Dragonball and like strength, ki increased speed as well the more you had it. It was like a cycle of self improvement and the power mechanics for the Dragonball world were crazy.

A strong body equated to more ki and more ki equated to a strong body. The reason why my speed hadn't crossed the boundary from Enhanced speed to Superspeed was probably due to how little I actually paid attention to that facet of my abilities. I was going for a well rounded build however. Just because I hadn't met anyone who could match me in speed didn't mean that it would stay that way forever.

So I decided to fix that.

I made my way through the air and finally touched down on an empty football stadium. The lights were on and the field expanse. More than sufficient enough for my tests.

Superspeed came with two prerequisites. One, a high enough perception that would accommodate the flow of information in that heightened speed. And two, a strong body that should handle going at that speed.

The next prerequisite was more of something to make it easier to move at high speeds. Something to reduce the drag on you. An object moving at high speed would encounter a lot of friction and air pressure that would slow it down by a lot. A ki barrier would probably solve that issue.

All I actually needed to do was increase my perception and I was set. The one thing that I had on hand that was hella fast was electric energy. It was familiar enough to me due to the venom blast I formally had before. The venom blasts causes my inner energy to manifest into electric energy. I needed to harvest it's principles and adopt it's nature to my synaptic receptors.

Luckily, I had Extremis on hand to heal me if something went wrong.
