Bonding Part 1

Notice: Chapter can be skipped. There's 100% no plot, though this depends on how you see it.

4 days later.

*shuffle*

"Alright, let's start," Raven said shuffling a deck of cards.

"You know the rules and so do I," I said.

"Your sister has been yeeted into a pocket dimension, so it's just you and me," Raven states, a stone table appears between us.

"Not like anyone else could play with us," I murmured.

"That's because you can't take a loss," Raven claimed.

"B*tch, your luck is as unreasonable as Chinese novel lengths," I spat. "Besides, I never lost even with that stupid luck of yours,"

"What do you think you're Instinct was unbeatable? I do win, rarely but that's usually when your hands sh*t," Raven states.

"Besides the whole reason nobody else would've played with us is because we had no friends," I smirked.

"You shouldn't be proud of that!" Raven shouts.

"My ending was a lot better without friends," I said, recalling that anime Raven showed me.

"How many should we start with?" Raven asks changing the topic.

"Half the deck each, leave one out to start," I said.

"You know we're going to play UNO, right?"

"What! I wanted to play Go Fish!" I shouted. "Though with my Instincts gone, we could play a more fair Poker,"

"Go Fish is for kids," Raven spat.

"Same could be said about UNO,"

[Incorrect: Both are family games]

"Whatever, we have time to play both," Raven said before passing me 10 cards. "We're playing UNO by the way,"

*twitch*

"Since we can play both, start with the f*cking Go Fish!" I commanded.

"I'm saving the best for last!" Raven shouts back.

"Best for last my *ss! You clearly know we won't have time," I retorted.

"Rock Paper Scissors to decide?" Raven asks.

"Now that's childish," I said before noticing 6 cards facing backward close to my side of the table. "Weren't it going to 10 cards?" I asked grabbing them with Energy Hands (Normal).

Red 7 & 10, Green 4, Blue 3, Red Reverse, Yellow 1,

"First to empty their hand will win and no cheating," Raven said, flipping a card from the deck onto the table.

Green 5.

"Question. How should we start our questions?" I ask dropping Green 4.

"Answer. What kind of dumb question is that? Ask what you want," Raven said before dropping Green 6. "Question. You seemed to have matured quite even before reincarnating here. How so?"

"Answer. Let's just say, the afterlife was a pleasant place," I answered mysteriously drawing a Yellow 6 and dropping it down one time. "Question. Did you notice that even after you gain strength, you're still one big coward?"

"Answer. It's not being cowardly, it's just not being a reckless idiot," He said dropping a Yellow Draw 2. "Question. What is the mark you left in Necrozma's home?"

"Answer. Don't know, instinctively used it," I answered drawing 2 cards, Red 4 & 9, and dropped down Yellow 1.

"Thought as much, your movements either meant it was done instinctively or you had no hesitation to drop whatever that mark is on the ground, in Necrozma's home. That did be recklessly stupid," Raven sighs in relief.

Did this jack*ss call me a reckless idiot?

"Question. Why are you so against Shub?" I asked.

"Answer. It's something that didn't exist in the Pokemon timeline, meaning its existence is changing the plot," Raven answers dropping a Yellow 7.

Sorry, but if you had hoped to show off your knowledge of the plot, it's way too late now that Ouroboros exists, Blaine's dead, and Mewtwo's early birth.

[He possibly is aware of all except Blaine's death. Therefore, he doesn't care about Kanto and Johto's plot]

"Question. What do you think I'm lacking as a friend?"

"Answer. The qualities to have friends," I said dropping Red 7. "Question. You do realize we aren't getting anywhere like this right?" I asked.

"Answer. True, but once we start we surely won't be playing this game and who knows how sour the argument would get," Raven replied, dropping down a Wild. "Green"

"Tsk,"

"Question. What do you think I would need to do for you to evolve?" Raven asks.

"Answer. You have already gained the most important part one needs to be a friend of mine which is strength, something you lacked back then. Now you just need to unf*ck the f*ck that you f*cked," I said drawing a Reverse Red.

"Huh?"

"I won't evolve until I trust you," I simplified.

"It looks like we should get serious now," Raven mutters with a cheeky smile. "Luck just loves me," His card drops down revealing.

"This is why humans suck," I complained.

2 Deep Wild.

"How did humans get involved in this? I'm a soul," Raven asks.

"You say you aren't human but your shape and weaknesses say otherwise," I retort. "Regardless, this was a complete waste of time,"

"Wrong, we shared some knowledge," Raven refutes.

"Yes, but we didn't break the ice," I added.

"Let me try then," Raven said. "You weren't a friend, but a reliable bully,"

"Wow, so emotional," I sniffed. "I bullied the weak, I said that so many times and you still didn't catch the memo,"

"Don't try putting an excuse, we both know you just wanted to," Raven said.

"My thoughts should've been 'i can and I shall'. This is why only the strong can be my friend, unlike you antisocial human who just shouldn't have friends," I mocked.

"Why shouldn't I have friends?" Raven asks.

"You're too selfish,"

I'm not too sure how long this arc going to last, since I'll just let their conversation flow its own course, might end the next chapter or part 3, but once it's done I shall wrap up Ultra Space Arc.
