Alex who was standing at a distance, after seeing him grabbing her hand tried to come forward but she gave a clear sign with her hand , asking him to stay behind.
"Anne, please try to hear me atleast once. I sent you so many letters but you did not even bother to send me a reply. ", said Sebastian. There was a clear mark of anxiety on his face.
Anne who was holding the basket in which Christiano was, passed it to Lily. " See, you also know what you have done. No explanation can change my mind now so you better stop troubling me. "
He tightened his grip on her hand . "I know you still love me right? I love you so much then why.. "
" What love ? What will I do with your unfaithful love? I can't see it. I can't feel it. I do not want such troubling emotions. " She sneered.
"Just give me a chance to explain. I didn't.. "
She barged in between his speech and with a calm tone said, " Leave my hand. Do not create a scene in the middle of the street. "
He screamed, " What the hell is wrong with you? People are now even spreading rumours... " He paused for a second and then continued with a smirk on his face, " Wait a minute , do not tell me that you spread the rumour that you left me because I am not manly enough. " He leaned at her ears and said, " If you are concerned about that matter, how about coming with me to my home and checking it yourself. "
Christiano wanted to leap from the basket, turn back into his human form and cut his nape. But he knew that if he does that then he will loose her faith from him. ' This #₹@_& . How dare he..! '
Anne who was trying to maintain a composed posture and hold her anger, lost her sanity after hearing the last sentence uttered by him. She stepped her right leg backwards, twisted her hips and raised her knee. She then brought her rear leg forward and bringing the kicking leg through with rotating standing foot 180° , she kicked him right at his chin. The kick hurt his chin hard and he let go her hand as a reflex. She then put the leg with which she kicked him on his shoulder and pulled up her gown a bit. There was a dagger tied with belt on that leg. She pulled out the dagger and threw the scabbard. With one hand pointing the dagger at his neck she said, " One more time you use that filthy mouth of yours and I am going to slit open your throat. "
Sebastian got goosebumps till his toes. He could not believe how a meek girl like her, who always followed him blindly, attack her and that also with a lighting speed. ' This bitch! See what I am going to do with you afterwards. ' "Ok ok. I won't. But first pull your dagger back. ", he stuttered.
She pulled back the dagger and warned him, " If you repeat this behavior again then see what I am gonna do with you."
A lot of people got gathered around there to see the show. Lily who was standing right there, was mesmerised by her attacking skills. While Christiano was gritting his teeth with anger, Alex was feeling like a proud duck whose offspring finally learnt to swim alone.
After Sebastian left, Anne took a sigh and turned around. " I am hungry. There is a famous restaurant here, let's have lunch there. " , she told to Lily and Christiano. After that, they left too.
Meanwhile when the incident happened~
"What's the commotion here? ", asked a man in a black armour. An old man from the crowd told him that the son of Baron Ritcherdson is making a fuss with a lady. When he stepped forward to inspect the actual scene he saw her doing a 180° kick on Sebastian. As he stared at her face, he flinched.
' Those eyes? ! ' After they left, he was still in a daze. ' Those eyes.. they look the same. Am I mixing things ? '
