Curse of Agnesina

Oh, how will I describe how much grandeur the library was. The soft light of the chandelier that was filling up the whole room, the rusted brown colour of the furniture and the sweet aroma of wood that was surrounding the whole library. Overall the atmosphere was totally different than how the tower was looking from outside ( grim and gloomy).

There were no books that was not a part of this library. From philosophy to dark magic , there were all types of books. And among those books, there was a book named "Curse of Agnesina. " Christiano handed over that book to Anne as he was sure that she would be able to conclude some theory after reading the whole book.

That book's cover was made with bronch with a ruby and a sapphire embedded in it. The pages were slight yellow in colour as it was already three hundred years old.

According to this book about three hundred years ago the world was in a complete state of chaos. Peace could be found nowhere as all the leaders / kings were engrossed in besighing  each other's territories. At that time God ordered two angels to spread peace and love in the earth.

There are nine types of angels. Those two might just be called "regular angels." They were guardians of people and all things physical and are the most common type of angels. These types angels were usually sent as messengers to humanity. Personal guardian angels come from this category. Angels may also protect and warn humans as well as act as warriors on behalf of God.

Among those two angels, one was the angel of purity .  Her name was Agnesina. She had long mystic silver hair and sapphire blue eyes. The other one was the angel of  wisdom. Her name was Myth. She had long flocks of rose bonde hair and amber eyes.

Together they two managed to write down a peace treaty among all the nations worldwide. But then a problem arose. Agnesina was in love with the prince Charmes of Frestia. Both had geniune feelings for each other but there was a problem which came in between of their coalescence. The king Blaed of Frestia, who was also the big brother of Charmes gave a proposal according to which those two can get married only if Myth marries him and becomes his queen. Being the angel of wisdom, she had a profound knowledge of warfare, architecture and economics which would greatly help to make Frestia a wealthy country.

Myth and Agnesina were like sisters. Being unable to see her in the state of despair she agreed to his proposal. Later both of them took permission from the God for living in the form of human beings until the death of their respective husbands.

Years went by, Agnesina gave birth to a beautiful son whose appearance resembled hers. Agnesina had a unique quality. She had the ability to talk with animals and could control water while Myth had the ability of controlling fire.

            The king was impure. He always lusted over Agnesina's appearance. Her soothing appearance made him wanting her more and more. But he knew that taking over her forcefully would only bring misfortune so he engrossed himself in debauchery. Oneday during the banquet he drank excessive alcohol. While retiring to his restroom he saw Agnesina alone. Unable to control himself anymore, he leaped upon her. The knights started panicking and quickly informed Charmes. She still had her devine powers in her at that time. She made a dagger with water and pushed him but when the time came to stab it in his abdomen, she realised that the body from which the blood was of Charles'. While trying to push his brother he accidentally took the blow from her lethal weapon. As he took his last breath in her lap, she started fading. By that time, Mith also arrived there.

" It's my power that killed my beloved. My son is also carrying the same blood as mine. Today I, Agnesina declare that none of my successors will get this power. Only when the seed of pomegranate will arise from thr barren land this power will be granted. " She stared at the king with full of hatred. Pointing her fingers at him she said, " Because of you my son will become orphan today. I curse you that your clan would become extinct. " - These were her last words. This incident was kept confidential. Her curse proved to be true as slowly all the successors of the throne started having untimely death. Fearing of being attacked by neighbouring country she told Myth to produce a baby with her devine power. She agreed but in return she told him he have to make her free and allow her to return to heaven. As the baby was made solely from her, he also had fire controlling abilities so she put a barrier into his fate according to which, he and his successors' power would be dormant till the pomegranate seed ask them to release it.

This book was written by Myth and was hidden in the tower. She knew that the king would never allow anyone to defile his image. Only a few person know about it's existence.

Now Anne was a bit confused after reading the whole book.

" Milady, do you know that the first time I met you, I was completely aback by your mana level. The frostwood duchy successors never had any mana power. "

She flinched her eyebrows at him. " And what are you trying to say? How is mana related to this? "

" Cause the Prince Charmes you were reading about, is your great grand father."

'  It was true that she felt a strong connection with that tiger but water controlling? '  She was puzzled.
