Don't Let It Take Over You

Lukas had finally finished explaining everything to Freida. He didn't drop any detail in order to make Freida know that breaking off his engagement with Violett was a necessary thing to be done.

Freida was speechless for a second when Lukas had finished explaining her everything. Her eyes were widened and she was looking directly at Lukas.

Lukas felt uncomfortable with the image of his mother looking at him like that. "Uh... please, stop it," he said.

Soon, Freida bursted out in laughter, which made Lukas very confused.

The blonde boy tilted his head in confusion. 'Uh... is she mad?' he wondered. Lukas truly wasn't able to read the woman in front of him.

After laughing for a bit longer, Freida took a deep breath and looked at Lukas. "You really are something, huh, brat?" she asked.

Lukas raised his brow and then shrugged his shoulders. "I guess?" he said awkwardly.
