He kneeled on the snow. The burning cold was reddening both his toes and fingers, but it didn't compare to the anger he was feeling at the moment. Such anger could be noticed in his expression, which even seemed animalistic, as well as in the tears streaming down his face.

The main point of this book is following him on his journey to fulfill that task. He goes through a lot of internal struggles such as: Is it really possible to achieve such a thing? Is what I'm trying to do even the right choice?

The Bringer of Light

Lukas and the girls were in Aarya's room, sitting on the floor in a circle.

Aarya nodded her head with a smile. "So, does everyone agree with Luka's request?" she asked.

Just as Lukas had expected Aarya immediately accepted his request. She even volunteered to try to convince the other girls to accompany them.

Jasmine then sighed. "Is it just today? I'd like to enjoy my days off, you know?" she asked.

Lukas nodded his head. "Yes, absolutely! I promise it's only today! I only need to calm down and see how things are done before my first day comes," he answered in anxious way.

Zoya then shrugged her shoulders. "Well, it's fine by me," she said before turning her head to Lukas. "But we aren't going to spend the whole night there, right?" the girl asked.

Lukas immediately shook his head. "Oh, no, of course not. I'll need one hour at most," he answered with a slight smile.
