Lukas then walked to the horses in front of the carriage, and caressed them for a brief moment in order to tranquilize them and gain their confidence.

Lukas then sat behind the horses, and grabbed the crop in order to order the animals to run.

Lukas had already had horsemanship lessons back in the Royal Academy, and he truly was very good at it due to the connection he has with animals.

Lukas then lightly whipped the horses for them to start moving, and they immediately did as they were commanded. The horses probably felt Lukass tension, because they started galloping at an astonishing pace.

Lukas then glanced at Leonhard behind him. "How're things going over there?" he asked.

Leonhard, who was sitting between the seats of the carriage in order to get cover, nodded his head slightly. "It's fine. It doesn't look like they are going to catch up to us," he said.
