Right after Erik said that, Lukas frowned quite deeply. What the hell was wrong with him? Was he deaf? Or maybe just stupid?

Lukas sighed. "Erik, I don't know where you're coming from. Please, why do I need to hear the story of the Von Neumann house?" he asked.

Erik, who was facing the window, immediately turned around to look at Lukas. "Lukas, you have to understand that you are still too young. Still too young and too naive to understand everything with just a glimpse. So, please, let me do this, and you will see that no bad intention comes from our actions," he said.

Lukas raised his brow. "But I-"

"Lukas. Please," Erik said, interrupting Lukas. He was almost showing his grandson a pleading expression, as if he truly wanted to tell him that story.

After noticing that, Lukas just sighed in defeat. "Very well, go ahead," he said.
