A Handful

Lukas and his comrades were back in what used to be the battlefield. Julian and the rest of his army seemed to be resting as some war prisoners were sent to be exiled.

As soon as the army arrived, Herman immediately went to talk to Julian.

"Julian," Herman said, arriving to his side.

Julian tilted his head. "Hey, Herman. It's all good, we have everything under control. We could go on our way right now, actually," he said.

Herman nodded his head. "Okay, that's good," he said.

Right after that, a soldier from Julian's army frowned. "What?! We have been here since last night! We need some rest," he complained.

Julian shot him a glare. "Hey! Shut up! We fought for much longer every single day during this battle! I don't why you're complaining," he said.

As Julian and his soldier discussed, Lukas was deep in thought regarding the conversation he had had with Lucius.
