Overwhelmed Inn

Herman and Julian were sitting at a table of the inn, looking very tired.

Julian sighed deeply. "Wow, I truly didn't expect it to be like that," he said.

Herman nodded his head in agreement. "Tell me about it," he replied. "In the end, I'm relieved that Lukas had the idea to just decide on the men's merit, rather than just choosing randomly. I think it feels more right and they won't feel frustrated," the bulky man said.

Julian nodded his head back at him. "Yeah, but still, there are always those who think they deserved better than someone else," he said.

"That's why Lukas decided to sleep in the camp. Even the main contributor to our victory in the war is sleeping there, so they won't feel that bad," Herman replied.

Julian slowly raised his brow. "...Do you really think that'll work?" he asked.
