Bitterness

Lukas and the rest of the Austrian army were back to the camp. None of them looked very cheery due to the failure that the mission was, however, Lukas definitely looked the worst.

Lukas walked away from his partners, apparently towards his tent, however, Herman stopped him.

"Wait, Lukas, we have to discuss about what happened," Herman said, placing his hand on his shoulder.

Lukas abruptly shook Herman's hand off his shoulder. "Talk about what? Huh?! About how shitty my mission went? About how much of a failure it was?" he asked before scoffing. "Yeah, sure, let's talk about it," the blonde boy added.

Herman took a deep breath. "Lukas, it's normal that missions fail. I don't expect all of your plans to go as smoothly as the one you had the previous battle did. We are people, and people make mistakes," he said.
