Hesitation

France, December 20th 1803

Herman and his army had just departed to the fortress, whereas Lukas and his men were getting ready to do the same. Only a few seconds separated them from that event.

Lukas looked to where Herman's army had gone to, seemingly paying attention to something. After that, he nodded his head to his men.

"Let's get moving," Lukas commanded.

""Yes, Captain!"" his men replied in unison.

And so, Lukas turned around and walked to his and his men's destiny. The movement was so automatic that it was obvious that it had become a habit of his at this point.
