Su Weifeng drove to the company building where Qiao Yushan worked.


He sent a message to Qiao Yushan, and soon she came out of the company's building.


After getting into Su Weifeng's car and exchanging a simple greeting, Qiao Yushan leaned back in her seat, exhausted.


Su Weifeng said, "You seem pretty tired."


"It's alright, I just haven't been sleeping enough," she replied.


Su Weifeng started the car and said, "Then I'll take you home to sleep right away."


But Qiao Yushan shook her head and said, "Let's find a place. I feel like having a drink."


"A drink?" Su Weifeng looked at her in surprise, then nodded and said, "I know a bar nearby—it's quite quiet."


In just over ten minutes, Su Weifeng and Qiao Yushan had arrived at a bar called Lanqing.


The bar was the quiet type with a few private rooms and about a dozen booths. The melodious piano music echoed in every corner of the bar, while one of the two bartenders was busy mixing drinks.
