A Test

Laras's cries haven't completely stopped. But the girl had already freed herself from Randi's arms. This made Randi frown, then asked in a surprised tone. "Why?"

There was a sense of pity when looked at Randi's face. The man looked exhausted. Evident from the look on his face withered and eyes that are no longer fresh. Laras felt a twinge of doubt, she felt sorry for Randi. She shouldn't have told this now. However, when her throat hurt, she also felt a little nausea again. Finally Laras got up the courage to open the bag he was carrying. Get something out of there.

"Why? What did you bring?" Randy asked. His gaze focused on Laras.

Laras took out three testpacks from the bag. This made Randi frown deeply. His heartbeat was no longer normal, although he suppressed the fear as best he could. "Why did you bring that?"

Randi is not an idiot who doesn't know what Laras meant by bringing the little thing here. It's just, is this the answer to the question so far? Was today the day he was most afraid of?

"I'm sure you're not so stupid as to not understand what I mean." Laras spoke in a trembling voice.

"Why did you even think about using this? What's wrong, Ras? What have you experienced?"

Laras swallowed her saliva hesitantly. "I was throwing up this morning."

"It could just be a common cold," objected Randi.

"Not just once, but so many times that I'm weak." Laras confirmed her opinion.

"Calls are also the same symptom." Randi was still in denial. "Laras, don't assume negative. It can make you sick, and I don't want to see you sick, honey."

No, to be honest that sentence was not intended for Laras, but for Randi himself. The man wanted to convince himself that this was all just an exaggerated assumption from Laras because the woman had just felt lost.

"Which colds can make me throw up many times just because I smell my pargum ssniri? And what cold doesn't go away with me, who has eaten a lot today? What's the cold, Ran?" Laras demanded. Her voice was still shaking. Her tears started to fall again when she felt that Randi didn't believe her.

Rand stood up, he rubbed his face roughly. "Okay, so you want to use them all? When? Do you want now? If so, come on, I'll wait for the results."

It was Laras' turn to freeze. She looked at the three testpacks she had bought this morning. At first she wanted to wear it first, but unfortunately she didn't have that much courage.

"Yes, I want to use it. But before that, you have to make an appointment."

"What promise? Promise to never leave you? Promise to always be by your side no matter what? Laras, has my treatment not convinced you that I love you with all my heart? Have you not believed in me all this time?" Randi in a high pitched voice. His brows dropped, his tired face seemed to radiate emotion.

"Why are you angry? I just want to test it, Ran. If it's actually negative and according to what you said that night. Fine! I'm sorry for thinking too much. But you don't have to be angry like this. This is the first time you're angry, Ran. Why? Are you afraid that my assumption is correct?"

Randi was silent. He saw the look of despair on Lara's face. With tears that never stopped, the woman looked at him with a frantic net.

Not! It can't be like this. Too hard on the Laras is not a good thing for now. Then, Randi sat down next to Laras again. He hugged his lover's thin body back into his arms.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. I'm just really tired today, then you come crying hysterically. I'm shocked, honey. I'm afraid you're going to be okay like before." Randi said by occasionally kissing Laras temple.

Laras let go of Randi's arms. She grabbed three testpacks lying on the bed. Lifting the three small objects into the air, brandishing them clearly.

"I want to try this. You please pray to God, ask that the results are according to what you said that night. Otherwise, I won't accept it, Ran."

Randi nodded though hesitating. He took Lara's hand, leading her to enter the bathroom. Before releasing his grip, Randi said, "Whatever the result, I promise I will accept it completely. Don't be afraid, I will always be there for you." He kissed Laras forehead for a long time. mHe stared at the clear black eyes warmly.

Randi's hand reached out to open the bathroom door, allowing Laras to enter and taking the time to give his lover a bright smile. "Come on, its okay."

Starting with a heavy breath, Laras finally entered the bathroom.

After Laras went into the bathroom, Randi immediately punched the wall beside him. Letting go of all your worries now. He thought that today would end with the closing meeting for the departmental danus, but in reality there was something big waiting for him at home. Until now he ended up here, in front of the bathroom door. Squatting waiting for Laras to come out of there. Hoping that the results are not as imagined so far.

"Why is it taking so long?! Do you have to wait an hour to use a testpack?!" Randi grumbled.

He got up from his squatting position, was about to knock on the bathroom door so that Laras could get out of the house immediately. However, he gave up his intention. Ending up with his hand again, he punched the wall of the room.

For God's sake, he had never been this frail before. In fact, his fear now overcame his fear when he faced the results of the previous SBMPTN.

Randi crouched down again. He grabbed his hair many times to stay awake, stay here and not run away. Because if that happened, Laras would label him as an irresponsible man or a man who likes to make promises without being able to keep them.

"Laras?" Randi called his lover's name slowly. Of course there was no answer because the room was quite airtight.

"Oh my God, I'm so scared." Randi walked quickly towards the nightstand. Just to gulp down a glass of water that is available there. Although it didn't calm him down, at least his throat wasn't dry.

Randi then returned to the front of the bathroom door. He was about to crouch there again before the creaking sound coming from the door stopped his movement.

Laras, with an unpredictable face, stood facing him. Her eyes didn't look at Randi. Her hands trembled as he took out three testpacks from his pocket. Seeing that reaction, Randi immediately pushed the negative thoughts out of his head.

"How?"

Before giving the three small objects, Laras spoke softly. "Ran, I...."
