Surprised

"Hurry up, Laras?! Panji has been waiting for that long in front!!"

Laras snorted, she was actually too lazy to follow Yuni's orders. From the start, Laras has flatly refused about this match, but Yuni pretends to turn a deaf ear and continues the process. Until Laras ended up in the car, alone with Panji. Since then silence has enveloped them. Panji also seemed reluctant to speak, maybe the man was offended by Laras' words yesterday afternoon.

"Let's get off," said Panji when his car stopped in the parking lot of a boutique.

"I don't want to fit clothes. I already said, I don't want to continue this matchmaking. It's up to everyone to be angry or even kick me out, I don't care.

Panji sighed. Today was exhausting enough with so many problems at the office, then suddenly Yuni asked him to fit clothes with Laras. And lo and behold, the woman is now reluctant to get out of the car. Plus her words were so precise that it pierced Panji's heart.

"Yeah, I know. But I can't refuse your aunt's request," said Panji.

"If you can't refuse, can you go alone without me?" Panji shook his head. "No, you can't. You have to come too."

"If I come along, it's the same as if I agree to our arranged marriage."

Panji closed his eyes, trying to suppress the urge to speak sharply to Laras, a stubborn woman.

"If you refuse, it's okay. We can talk later, amicably with my parents. But for now, please, Laras. Make things easy, I've set aside time for this, don't waste it."

"Who told you to obey? If you had refused, Auntie wouldn't have come to my campus, dragged me in front of many people. Do you think I want to be like that?"

Again, Panji had to close his eyes, really. Talking to Laras must use common sense, not to be provoked by his emotions.

"Laras, I'm really asking for help. Just make things easy for today. I have to hurry home because I have unfinished work." Panji still spoke softly.

"Well, you just go in yourself. Easy, right? I'll wait here until you're done, then we'll go home together as if everything went smoothly. Easy, right? It's not difficult? You just made things difficult."

"Laras, these are the fittings for both of us, not just me. If it's just me, I can go alone without you."

"Well, anyway, our matchmaking will be canceled right?"

Panji rubbed his face roughly. It was obvious that he was tired of arguing with Laras. "Alright, you wait here."

Then, Panji went out alone. Leaving Laras in the car drifting in regret. Laras should be relieved and happy too, because he doesn't have to be tired of changing clothes many times in fittings. But for some reason, she even felt guilty because she saw the look on Panji's face that was already wrinkled.

"Ah, at least Panji is tired. After all, who told him to ask for this, it was the same aunt."

Laras finally just silent, looking at the night sky from behind the closed car window. Crazy! She is very bored. If Yuni hadn't taken her cellphone again, Laras would have ordered an online taxi to take her away from here.

Almost twenty minutes, but Panji never came out of the boutique building. Laras was already sleepy, slowly closing her eyes before completely drifting into the cradle of beautiful dream.

Panji walked in a hurry, his father had called him many times to go home immediately because their business partners had come for a meeting as well as dinner. When Panji was in a hurry to drive his car, he glanced at Laras, who was already asleep in a sitting position. Her hands crossed over her chest, her head leaning against the car window.

Slowly, Panji changed Larar's chair so that it could be used to lie down, he also held Laras' head gently until he could actually lie in the comfortable back of the seat.

"I'll just take it home."

Arriving at home, Panji immediately carried Laras into his room. Of course through the back door, because in the living room his father's business partner was already there.

"Hei? Why did you bring Laras here? Why is she here?" Satya asked when he found the child holding a woman.

"Laras fell asleep, maybe she's really tired. I want to take her to the room, and change clothes first before joining the meeting."

Satya nodded. "Well, be careful going through the stairs. Are you strong?" Satya was a little worried because the stairs to Panji's room were quite long. Afraid that Panji suddenly couldn't balance his body and ended up rolling down together with Laras in his arms.

Fortunately, Panji was able to carry Laras so well that he could bring her to lie down on his soft bed. Before moving to change clothes, Panji had time to stroke Laras' black mane. Staring at her beautiful face with passionate longing.

"I hope we can unite."

Laras blinked her eyes several times, adjusting the light that entered her retina. She remembered she fell asleep in the car, but why was he in the room now? Again, this is not the room.

"Where the hell is this?" Laras opened her eyes wide, examining the corner of the large room which was dominated by white.

"Is this in my old house, huh?"

At first Laras was calm, until she found a figure containing a photo of a man who was not foreign to her.

Panji.

Is this Panji's room? Was it Panji who brought her here? Does that mean that Panji has....?

Not!!

Panic immediately attacked Laras. She immediately got up and was about to run out, but before that Panji came in with a glass of water in his hand. "Laras? You're awake?"

"Fuck!!"

After shouting, Laras took the glass from Panji's hand. Then without thinking, she threw the glass of water right next to Panji's head.

Prang!!!

"Laras!!"

The glass hit the door in the back. Luckily it didn't hit Panji's face.

"What's wrong with you?!" Panji panicked seeing Laras who was already crying in front of him.

"No! Don't come any closer!! You're evil!!"

Panji gasped and reflexively backed away when Laras was about to throw the jar at him. "Laras, calm down first. What are you doing?"

"No! I'm not stupid! I don't want to be touched by you!!" Laras used one hand to hold up the jar, the other she used to cover her ears because the loud ringing began to sound until the contents of her head were confused.

"What are you doing, Laras?!" Panji was desperate to approach Laras. Ended up in the urn that was thrown in front of her.

Prang!!

"Laras!!"

"No! Go away! I'm not a dirty girl!!!"

"AAAAAA!!"

Laras could scream loudly before her body began to wobble. The black shadows filled her head until it felt like it was going to burst. Laras had called Randi's name before he lost consciousness.
