Laras Attention

Laras pushed Panji's body to sit on the sofa. She stared intently at the man's black netra. "You have a stomach ache because I forced you to eat kebabs this morning, didn't you?" Laras immediately asked the point.

"Huh? Ah, no. I just have a stomach ache from eating too late." Panji argued. He also avoided Laras' eyes which seemed intimidating.

"Lie!" said Laras. Her eyes narrowed. "Uncle Satya said you had a stomach ache from eating spicy food. It must have been because you ate kebabs with me this morning, right?"

"No, Laras. I'm just late eating."

Laras did not reply to Panji's words. With a standing position, she looked at Panji with a slight bow. Then, she drew near. Until right in the middle of the wide-open Panji's feet. Perhaps Panji would be surprised by the courage of Laras standing right in front of him. "You don't lie, I feel guilty." Laras said quietly. Her eyes stared fixedly into Panji's eyes.

"No, you don't have to feel guilty."

"Yes, but you are here because of me." Laras' hand reached out to wipe the sweat on Panji's forehead. Also gently stroked the man's black hair which felt limp than usual.

Getting this kind of treatment managed to make Panji feel even more in love with Laras. Not only her beautiful face, but also her very gentle behavior when she is with the people she loves.

Panji closed his eyes, feeling warmly how Laras' hands continued to stroke his limp hair. But, it didn't last long because again Panji's stomach felt like it was being tightly wrapped, so that he couldn't help but push Laras a little. Standing with a grin on his face. "Sorry, Laras. I have to go to the bathroom."

Then without waiting for Laras' answer, Panji ran to his room. In a hurry and almost slipped in the middle of the stairs. "Panji, be careful!!!" Laras shouted which of course was ignored by the man.

Laras sighed tiredly. She sat limply on the sofa that had been occupied by Panji. Her mind began to cloud, about how Panji always obeyed her wishes. Including eating spicy kebabs even though he knew it would hurt himself. Even after getting sick, Panji didn't blame Laras at all. The man seemed to accept gracefully for what Laras did to him.

Laras so broadcast, what if they got married. Will Panji continue to succumb to her, even though their status is husband and wife. Where it should be, the wife must obey her husband.

Ah, why is her mind so incoherent like this?

Instead of continuing to dwell on strange thoughts that will never happen, Laras is better off following Panji to his room. Worried that the man would faint from weakness.

When you enter Panji's room, it still feels the same as yesterday. Where Laras unknowingly threw the glass and jar which almost hit Panji's face. The day her fears flared up and got out of control. Laras also remembers that she hasn't had time to apologize to Panji for what happened.

While looking at the figures on the display cabinet, the bathroom door opened.

Panji came out of there with a limp face and hands still holding his stomach. Laras thought, was the effect of yesterday's noodles so torturous for Panji, that the man went limp as if he had no energy at all?

"You came in?" Panji asked as he sat himself on the bed.

"Yes. Why is it? You can't?" Laras was still speaking harshly to Panji.

"No, it's not like that. I was just afraid you'd be angry again."

"When did I get mad at you?"

"When I brought you here that night, I saw that you were angry, very angry."

"Ah, it's just a little trauma. I'm not angry with you." Laras said soothingly. She knows, Panji is the type of person who is very observant. He will always pay attention to everything, write it down in his brain to always remember.

Panji seemed to nod with a relieved face. "Thanks for that. I'm also sorry for not coming to your aunt's birthday party. Also I didn't tell you, because I left my cellphone at the office."

"It's okay. Besides, the party was really boring. I prefer it here."

"You liked?" Laras nodded without answering. Her eyes fell on a board with lots of photos. When she was about to take one of the photos, suddenly Panji's hand went ahead of him. Take the board at once and immediately hide it under the bed.

"What's that? Why put it down?" Laras asked suspiciously.

"Nothing, just pictures of me as a child." Laras did not give any response.

Panji felt stomach pain again. This time it's not heartburn, but just twisting, twisting which is great. He had endured it as best he could, but still, Laras could see the pain in Panji's face.

"Does it really hurt?" Laras asked when he saw Panji who was lying on his back with his hands on his stomach. Pressing the flat stomach, as if to expel the pain away.

"No, it's just suffocating."

"That's really sick! Have you taken medicine?" Panji nodded. "Yes, this afternoon."

Laras then chuckled. She walked over to the television cabinet, where she had seen a pack of tablets that looked like stomach aches. "This is the medicine, isn't it?" Laras asked when he returned to Panji.

"Yeah, I've been drinking anyway."

"You drank this afternoon, it's late, so you have to drink again." Laras sat beside Panji who was still lying down. She held out a green tablet in Panji's mouth. "Here, aaaa--"

Panji did not open his mouth to swallow the tablet. Instead, he turned his face away. "No need, I can do it myself." He refused in a soft voice.

"No, I want to feed you your medicine. Quickly open your mouth." Laras ordered with bulging eyes.

"I haven't had dinner yet, Laras. I'm afraid to vomit if I take the medicine," said Panji carefully. He was still busy dodging Laras' hand who held out the medicine.

While Laras, his hands fell. She looked at Panji with an indescribable look. "You haven't eaten yet?"

Despite his doubts, Panji shook his head. "Not yet." He guessed what Laras' reaction would be. Will the girl be angry?

Laras just sighed in annoyance. She stood up and walked out of the room. But before closing the door, Laras turned her face to look at Panji. "I want to make porridge, wait. Don't go anywhere and don't take the medicine yet."

Blam!

The door closed tightly, leaving Panji who was dissolved in a long silence. What did she say? Laras wants to make food for Panji so he can take medicine?

Is this Panji's dream or hallucinations that are already severe?

But it looks like it's real.

"Laras, did you take the wrong medicine or what?"
