Her past and present

From a young age she grew up surrounded by noble people that were believed to be her family members and many types of maids and butlers that worked for the Belmont family.

Unlike those of her so called family who enjoyed a hedonistic life, she lived her life trapped and confined in a part of their home and from the eyes of outsiders as if she was a stain that existed but they could not remove.

She later learned the truth from her mother that she was in fact in a difficult situation and that she was being held hostage by the family.

The reason for her mothers less frequent visits was because she was always being forces back to the battlefield by the family head who had no real achievements of his own but spoke highly about his families heritage and their glorious family.

However reality would show her early that the descendants were just leeching from their parents or grandparents past achievements.

Such people would eventually fall from grace if they would continue with their ways but luckily they had her mother to make use of and herself as a tool to keep her mother in check.

Although she never really suffered that big of a problem with food and clothing, compared to her other family members her food, clothing and books were often second hand or scraps from their meal.

The maids did not treat her as their masters too, they always gave her cold looks but luckily they did not have the confidence to get away with doing anything else for fear of her mothers retaliation.

Still she endured it for her mother and put on a smile each time she returned.

When she reached the right age to begin training, she put her efforts into learning her mothers swordsmanship that she had picked up within the islands military.

Very quickly she made progress and grew up, soon she would leave the house and free herself and her mother from the families clutches even if it meant becoming a bounty hunter or mercenary.

She was tired of being a stain, a burden, a half blood and a disgrace to the noble Belmont family.

Ever since Brooke, Yorki and other members of the Rumbar Pirates left their island, a void needed to be filled to ensure that the island would remain stable in the event of inside of outside threats appearing.

The Belmont family who had always produced many skilled swordsman stepped up during that time and filled that void warning them much praise and status over the years as they settled any rebellions or wars with outside forces.

Gradually weakening and becoming fat from their wealth and fame, they became an easy target.

Their only true support was their daughter who could not inherit the position as head of the family and even after her travels and return she was forced onto the battlefield never given a chance to rest.

What happened next was a combination of several factors that lead to their overall downfall along with the tragedy that followed.

The family that was in opposition with the Belmonts had a lot of political sway over the king after he took in a queen from their bloodline.

The combination of pillow talk and spreading of rumours about the Belmonts lead the king to become suspicious of the arrogant and hedonistic Belmonts.

Even whispers of the Belmonts intentions to overthrow the kings rule reached his ears very often which lead to a plan to get rid of them once and for all but first they would have to take out their support.

One of the pirate crews that often attacked and stole from their merchant ships who also had a big rivalry with the swordswoman of the Belmont family became the main people who would be able to deal with her.

After a couple of bribes here or there… they gained the information of the hidden away daughter and a plan began to form behind the scenes.

A mothers love for their child was so strong but it was also a weakness to be exploited by villains.

One night as her mother was distracted by the pirates attacking the docks, many pirates slipped into the mansion which had been poorly guarded in the area where she was held.

That night, she was training in her swordsmanship and noticed the intruders who tried to capture her but she fought back.

Her sword pierced a man's heart swiftly and without mercy, even though it was her first kill she managed to do it so effortlessly.

Unfortunately even with her fast and precise swordsmanship there were limitations to her immature body.

After wounding a couple more experienced pirates and killing another two men, she was subdued, knocked out and carried away.

Afterwards she faced the anger of the pirates who had lost many crew members to her sword.

They severed her wrists and legs so that she could never hold a sword or use those techniques again before sending word to her mother about her capture.

Her mother who found out what had happened and the families lack of assistance or response during the kidnapping was angered and severed her ties with the family after getting back from her duties.

She had no choice but to come alone without the assistance of her comrades but everything seemed to be way too smooth as if planned beforehand.

When she reached the destination she was faced with the poor complexion of her daughter who had been beaten and disabled.

Rationality won over her anger which stopped her from charging in alone and risking her daughters life.

Sadly she never came back after that night and her daughter was sold off as a slave after her wounds were stitched up messily and was passed around for a while between different noble families or islands.

She suffered burn and whip marks to her body and face and the wounds on her wrists and legs never truly healed properly.

She could no longer add any strength to her feet or hands without feeling pain and the wounds themselves were not dealt with properly when they were inflicted which made her hang on to the edge of life and death for a long time.

The Belmont family without the support of their swordswoman were quickly charged with treason by the king but the biggest problem was yet to come.

Without their spiritual leader and the person who always stood on the frontlines their armies began to collapse as if they had lost their main support.

The pirates, bandits and rebels within the island began to push back with extra force which lead to the many casualties.

Meanwhile the king and his queens family tried to stabilise the chaos that they had created because of mistrust and greed.

Unfortunately replacing a hero like figure was difficult and it would take many years to rebuild what they had lost to their enemies.

Some slave owners like a challenge and wish to make a slave obedient through abuse… some can be kind while others indifferent.

It depends on the owner but what most do not like is a disobedient and unruly child who looks unsightly.

At first she was a novelty purchase for her status of half blood nobility, a fallen family but also being the daughter of a fallen war hero.

As time passed, the owners could no longer stand her fierceness and sent her away to be resold.

Many owners, abuse and mistreatments later she arrived at the auction site and was bought for a small price considering the minimum for human slaves but after her appearance had grown worse and so had her attitude, she expected a much smaller bid after her name and family were beginning to be forgotten.

Even without her noble family or swordsmanship.. she… Medea Belmont would not cower before those who would call themselves her master.

If she broke and submitted then everything was over, her mothers sacrifice was in vain and she would never be able to gain freedom for herself.

What she did not expect was the two people in the room when she arrived that were discussing something whether it be their own things or about her future.

She remained vigilant but the moment she came into contact with Alyssia's chest as she was princess carried, all of her struggling seemed pointless.

She felt no threat from this person even if they did give off a strong presence.

The consciousness that she was struggling to maintain quickly slipped away and she fell into a deep sleep.
