Aftermath

While this was happening, things were beginning to become stormy within the country.

Chichilisia looked at his daughters sleeping body but also her arms and face that were beginning to swell up and bruise.

He then stood up quietly containing his emotions until he left the room, when he reached a big enough distance and came across his assistant his temperament completely changed.

He suddenly exploded with rage as he slammed his fist into the wall, leaving behind a large hole after he pulled his fist back.

His assistant was shook up by the sudden outburst of his leader and stepped back while showing how startled he was. "Master! What is wrong? I only just got word that something has happened but I do not know the details. How about we both go into the office to talk and calm down over a cup of tea?"

Chichilisia had looked at the damage he had caused and then back at his assistant and then replied. "Fine. We will do that."

When he arrived in his office, he sat at his work desk as his assistant began to pour the tea for him.

He slowly savoured his tea and calmed his nerves. "Thanks, I feel better now."

His assistant began to ask. "Master, so what has happened?"

Chichilisia took a deep breath to contain his anger from bursting out again and then explained. "It seems that someone has appeared and has been challenging many military and martial arts facilities recently. My daughter found out that that person had appeared at our gates and was challenging our soldiers. Either to win back our honour or simply curiosity, she took up the challenge and lost. Right now she is in the medical room after being beaten unconscious."

The assistant then gasped. "How.. how could this be?! The young lady has never been beaten so badly in a very long time."

He was very surprised upon hearing this news.

The young miss had only lost during her youth but as her determination grew with every loss, the more she had trained until she reached the stage in which she could win against the strongest people within the Niho Navy.

She had climbed up from the bottom to reach this stage and would take over as the next leader once her father has retired and then pass it down to one of her children born from her many husbands when she is too old to hold her position.

It was expected that she had reached a stage where she would have very few rivals besides her father, Sai, Boo and Chinjao, at least within the country she should be safe from harm.

The news that she had been defeated was something that had caused a great disturbance to the assistant but most of all, her father was upset about it the most out of everyone.

His anger flared up again and hit his desk. "Where is that person now? Bring them to me immediately!"

He wished to beat that person into the ground so that he could relieve the anger that he was feeling deep inside.

The assistant bowed his head and then said. "I will have it done right away."

However just as he was about to leave and order the Niho Navy to go towards the docks to search for the foreign troublemaker, the door was knocked on from the outside.

The assistant opened the door and a soldier had stood with a letter in his hand. "This was to be delivered to the leader right away."

Chichilisia raised his head and said. "Bring it over and wait a moment."

The assistant followed his wishes and stood nearby as his leader had finished reading.

Suddenly Chichilisia gnashed his teeth and tore apart the letter. "Damn that Chinjao! You sure have the nerve to request this of me…"

The assistant looked a little confused. "What is it?"

Chichilisia closed his eyes while massaging his temple then after he had calmed himself down, he spoke. "Chinjao requested me to not act against the foreigner, it seems that he is determined to protect them.."

The assistant wiped the sweat from his brow and then replied. "Then it is lucky that we did not leave right away. What should we do now?"

If they had left to capture the foreigner right after finding his daughter in that state then there may be a risk of the two Navies alliance becoming less stable, especially if the Happo Navy intends to nurture this person.

Chichilisia was lost in thought then replied. "Wait and see how my daughter is when she wakes up and find out the details from her but also investigate anything that we can on this foreigner so that next time we will not be caught off guard by anything again."

The assistant bowed respectfully and left the room to carry out his leaders wishes.

A little while later, Uholisia woke up in the medical room and let her father know about the details of the duel and the terms that were discussed.

Chichilisia was upset over what had happened but then Uholisia smiled and explained. "Do not worry.. it had been a long time since I have been defeated, it just means that I have not been working hard enough ever since I have reached this stage. I have grown too complacent."

She was upset that her arrogance had gotten the best of her and that her attention was split between the Navy duties but also her twenty five husbands so much that she had been slacking on her training recently.

This defeat was both a wake-up call to show her a weakness but it had also lit a spark upon her competitive spirit.

Now that she was awake, she said to her father. "Put me through some heavy training. Do not forget to arrange a meeting between yourself and Alyssia Lucine. I believe that she will wish to fight you to prove her martial arts accomplishments and I will also work hard to surpass you so even if you are defeated by her, I will be able to defeat her one day. I will earn back our families honour."

Chichilisia gave up completely after listening to his daughters determined words and let her do as she pleased.

Meanwhile within the Happo Navy headquarters, Boo was telling his grandfather and brother about how Alyssia had defeated Sai's arranged fiancé.

After the discussion had begun to determine if they would support her, they immediately sent the letter over to the Niho Navy and then began to listen to what information he had collected and what he had witnessed.

Boo stood in the corner of the room and said. "To be honest.. I am unsure if she has shown her true strength yet. It also seems like she is just testing the effectiveness of some of her techniques but she is constantly improving the more that she fights."

Chinjao sat back in his seat and then said. "If we do support her then I will not make it easy for her, she will have to suffer in order to grow quickly."

Sai looked towards his grandfather and then nodded. "There are many opportunities to gain experience right now so perhaps we can use this to kill two birds with one stone."

Chinjao revealed a cunning look on his face as he listened to his grandsons words. "My thoughts exactly."
