Chapter 33: Memories from Six Years Ago (4)

Isabel Smith took a sip of milk, looked at Percy Stanton's line of sight, and glanced at the contract. She was silent for a while before raising her head, finishing the milk in one breath, and placing the cup on the tea table beside her. She looked at Percy Stanton and asked, "Percy, can I really not consider my employment contract anymore?"

Percy Stanton's gaze grew cold again.

She grabbed her handbag that she brought to Maxwell Group's wine party and tried to find her mobile phone inside it, so she could avoid Percy, and then come out when his anger had subsided.

As Isabel dug out her mobile phone, Percy saw a small, colorful, plastic-wrapped square in her bag.

He took the opportunity of her closing the bag and bent down to snatch the plastic bag before Isabel could.
