Chapter 44: Memories from Six Years Ago (15)

Isabel Smith was startled. She had only kissed him once, and he fainted. She was panicking, and eventually, a passer-by reminded her to call 110.

When they arrived at the hospital, Isabel discovered that Percy Stanton was allergic to mangoes. He was given an anti-allergy shot by a doctor who seemed chaotic, and then placed in a hospital room, saying he should stay overnight for observation.

That night, Isabel stayed by Percy's side, never leaving.

When Percy woke up, it was already late at night.

At first, he was a bit confused, and then remembered what had happened, after which his mood became quite bad. He felt that he had been extremely unlucky lately, as he kept bumping into Isabel, who was like a jinx to him.

As he had a mango allergy inherited from his father Quinton Thompson, he couldn't touch mangoes since he was a child. The jinx girl, however, had had mango milk tea before kissing him.
