Percy Stanton didn't understand how his son came up with such strange ideas in his head. He turned his head in disbelief, looked down at the shorter Raymond Thompson, and mocked, "Raymond, I knew Isabel Smith long before you were even born!"

"What?" Raymond jumped up right away: "Father, are you saying you knew Sister Isabel before?"

Percy felt that he had misspoke in his hastiness, so he closed his mouth without saying anything, just lifted his head and continued to drink water.

"Father, did you really know Sister Isabel before?"

Raymond was a persistent child. Percy knew that if he didn't dispel Raymond's thoughts, he would keep asking incessantly. So, he gave a vague response: "You heard wrong."

"Really?" Raymond looked at Percy with disbelief: "Just now, I clearly heard you say that when you knew Sister Isabel, I wasn't born yet..."
