Chapter 128: A Unique Gift (13)

Percy Stanton didn't even bat an eye, speaking in a very natural tone.

His tone was not high, and there was not a single stressed word in that short sentence. It was as calm and casual as discussing how nice the weather was today.

Yet his words left Isabel Smith, Elijah Smith, Evelyn Osbert, and the saleswoman all dumbfounded.

Only Percy Stanton stood there calmly, not feeling that anything he said was inappropriate. He just looked at the saleslady who was still startled and hadn't entered the amount on the card machine, and continued to speak, "Can't you figure out how much the seven pieces of clothing cost?"

The saleswoman finally woke up with a start and looked cautiously at Percy Stanton, saying, "No, sir, are you sure you want all seven pieces of clothing?"

Percy Stanton frowned, seemingly dissatisfied with the saleswoman's delay.

The saleswoman hastily continued with a trembling tone, "Sir, I didn't mean that, I mean, Miss can only wear size S, the others may be too big."
