Chapter 165: I Take Responsibility For Her Life (6)

After checking on what Raymond Thompson learned at school today, Percy Stanton gave him a bath and watched him go to bed.

Raymond had not napped well at school today, so he was really tired, and dozed off before 8:30 pm.

Percy stood by the bed, watching Raymond's face for a while, before leaving the house quietly.

First, Percy went downstairs to the underground parking lot and fetched the items he had bought at the shopping mall today from the trunk of his car. He took them in the elevator back up to the floor with Isabel Smith's apartment and went straight inside.

He unlocked the door and found that all the lights were on inside. After walking around the apartment, he noticed that no one was there. A faint familiar scent lingered in the air - Isabel's scent.
