Chapter 343: Life and Death Hang in the Balance (21)

Percy took a hair wax from his dresser, twisted it open, scooped a bit of wax out, and vigorously tousled his hair with it.

Percy glanced down at his son with a snicker, picked up his coat from the side, and strode out of his bedroom with long strides.

After two steps, Percy was still bothered by Raymond's comment "she doesn't like my dad," so he stopped, twisted around, and said to his son, "Raymond, you can't say things like Isabel doesn't like me in the future!"

"Why?" Raymond stopped admiring himself, turned his head towards Percy, and said earnestly, "But Sister Isabel said so herself, she likes me. Quinton told me that a person will only like one person in their lifetime, just like how he only likes Sophia. So if Sister Isabel likes me, it means she doesn't like you. It's a fact, so why can't I say it?"
